Without spoiling anything for those who haven't played it yet, Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3: The Black Order takes you to a lot of different locations. Just about all of them have their own unique and cool elements, rife with their own enemies and (sometimes) mechanics. Each level clearly had a lot of care put into it, and each one feels like an awesome and real location in the Marvel Universe.

All of that said, there's much more out there we could see in the future. Some of these locations were visited in previous Ultimate Alliance games, but they were all released long enough ago that we'd all love to see them with some modern-day spit and polish. So, without further ado, here are ten locations that would be awesome to see in a possible Ultimate Alliance 4.

10 BATTLEWORLD

For those unfamiliar with Battleworld, it's the planet the Beyonder created from pieces of other planets in order to form a fighting arena for Earth's mightiest heroes and villains to do battle way back in the original Secret Wars. Which is fantastic, by the way, so give it a read if you haven't.

The Beyonder and Battleworld could be fuel for an entire Ultimate Alliance game in and of itself, since Battleworld could have huge swaths of the Marvel Universe attached to it, along with strong antagonists in both the Beyonder and the villains that the Beyonder brings to the planet.

9 HELICARRIER

The S.H.I.E.L.D. Helicarrier would be a bit of a no-brainer inclusion in an Ultimate Alliance game at some point. It could function as another sort of tutorial level in another Ultimate Alliance, as a place to bring all of the heroes together and introduce the forces of antagonism.

It would be a nice familiar place to start players off in before they bring in some of the really crazy locations. Somewhere that more casual fans will also be somewhat familiar with, to boot.

8 LATVERIA

Home of one of the greatest villains of all-time: Doctor Doom. This level could conceivably contain portions of Latveria as you work your way towards and into Castle Doom.

There could be Doombots galore, along with whichever villains Doctor Doom has on his payroll at that time. Doctor Doom's constant quests for omnipotence could set him up as a major baddie in the next Ultimate Alliance, and it's unlikely that any real Marvel fans would complain about seeing him make an appearance.

7 HELL

If Marvel's resident demonic overlord Mephisto makes an appearance in the next Ultimate Alliance, we could see a location that's a bit further from home. This could be a really fun and interesting level, if done in a way that isn't your everyday depiction, and would obviously have its own sources of antagonism all around.

This could also come with the added bonus of being able to see/fight/team up with some of the Marvel characters that have passed on, if only for a short while.

6 OLYMPIA

With Marvel's Eternals about to grace our screen in the near future, we could see their home city Olympia in another installment of Ultimate Alliance. Located right where you'd expect, Mt. Olympus, Olympia is the second city of the Eternals, formed after their first city, Titanos, was destroyed.

This could also introduce some Eternals as playable characters for the first time in the Ultimate Alliance series. Imagine how much fun they'd be to play as!

5 FUTURE/PAST

If Kang the Conqueror is included in the next Ultimate Alliance, we could see our heroes fighting their way through time, Avengers Forever style (another great comic).

This would really flip the table and allow for just about any location, known or new, to be included in Ultimate Alliance. We could see a future version of New York City (2099?), we could see long before any of the Avengers walked the Earth, or anywhere in between.

4 SAVAGE LAND

The land of the dinosaurs, the Savage Land would be a very welcome inclusion in a new Ultimate Alliance title. Located in a climate-controlled area of Antartica, the Savage Land was initially created as an experiment by a whole race of Beyonders before they eventually grew bored with their experiment.

There's a ton of story potential in the Savage Land, as a ton of different villains have made it their home/used it to suit their needs over the years. Plus, did we mention dinosaurs? There are dinosaurs. This place is awesome.

3 JAPAN

If the developers would like to keep The Hand included in the next Ultimate Alliance game, it could see us going to Japan to fight with them on their home turf. The Hand is a clan of mystical ninjas that are typically involved in various acts of villainy, trying to accomplish all kinds of no good.

There's a lot of cool possibilities there, from fighting through Tokyo to doing battle in a more feudal-style area of Japan. Plus, fighting mystically-powered ninjas is always going to be a good time.

2 MURDERWORLD

Included in the first Ultimate Alliance, Murderworld is a place created by the sinister Arcade, a villain that usually does battle with the X-Men, but has tangled with a variety of Marvel's heroes in the past. Murderworld's friendly aesthetics are a sharp juxtaposition to the reality of what you'll find within: a place designed to kill any who sets foot inside.

It usually has traps/mechanisms in place to specifically counter the hero(es) inside, ensuring it's a challenge no matter the hero's caliber.

1 ATLANTIS

With Namor being rumored to show up soon in the MCU, Atlantis would be a really awesome inclusion in the next Ultimate Alliance.

Rife with incredible architecture and unique landscapes, Atlantis is ruled by Namor, occasional hero and sometimes antagonist in the Marvel Universe. There's a ton of potential in Atlantis, and it has the possibility of being the coolest-looking location on this list.
