Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3: The Black Order has announced four more costumes available with the newest DLC. The Shadow of Doom expansion will add five new characters as well as additional content and newly announced costumes.

The Shadow of Doom expansion is slated to be the biggest update to Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3 yet, with the previous DLC only introducing four new characters. The update also includes the Fantastic Four and is set to add their nemesis, Doctor Doom. Another exciting aspect of the update is the sheer amount of costumes being released, as fifteen free costumes are scheduled to release on March 25th, a day before the paid DLC. The costumes are for characters from various Marvel teams, including the Guardians of the Galaxy, the Marvel Defenders, and some of the Avengers.

For the first time, Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3, will also add new costumes for previous DLC characters. The Rise of The Phoenix DLC added Cable, Iceman, Rogue, and Jean Grey, all of which will receive all-new costumes with the newest DLC.

Cable will receive his original costume before he joins the X-Men, which appears blue, with the absence of the X-Men logo on his belt. Gambit, on the other hand, will receive his "Age of Apocalypse" costume, which is an alternate version of Gambit from the Age of Apocalypse universe. Gambit appears in a blue suit with gold trim with a red cape and the classic blue headband. Jean Grey will receive her first X-Men costume, which dawned when the X-Men were first established. She is the first person to claim the alias of Marvel Girl, which was used by several superheroes after her. The original Marvel Girl costume is a green dress with an X-Men belt buckle, most known for the classic yellow eye mask.

It is important to note that these X-Men costumes will only be available through the DLC, and the characters are unlocked through the Rise of Phoenix DLC. Owners of the Expansion Pass will receive all the content from the one-time purchase of $19.99. As of now, all 3 DLCs are included in the Expansion Pass and future updates will not be included. The Expansion Pass is worth the money, given that each DLC adds content like new missions and game modes, at least four characters, and now costumes for DLC characters.
