In Marvel Strike Force, players will need to utilize all sorts of strategies to keep up in the fight against the forces of Ultimus, who's set to conquer the known universe. The good news is that players have access to a powerful collection of heroes and villains, some of which are lesser-known in the Marvel universe, to protect life as we know it.

Players will need to plan their squad carefully, since Ultimus is an immortal being that has been preparing for his conquest. That's why having a balanced team of heavy-hitters, tanks, and healers is the key to victory in Marvel Strike Force. But not all healers will save the team from defeat, so it's crucial for players to know which ones will get the job done.

10 Scientist Supreme, The Genius Biochemist

Scientist Supreme from Marvel Strike Force healing A.I.M squadmates.

New players are undoubtedly familiar with Scientist Supreme since she's a well-rounded healer for early teams (especially if paired with Ultron and other tech villains). At max skill rank, her Serum Pistol ability flips four negative effects on her allies, and applies regeneration to her for two turns.

While her skills mostly benefit an A.I.M-focused squad, her Retro Vaccination ability recovers all allies' health by 3,500 points. Additionally, her passive, Mad Science, has a 25% chance to revive an ally with 20% Max Health.

Abilities

  • Passive: Mad Science
  • Serum Pistol: Attack Primary Target and Apply Negative Effects
  • Field Trials: Flip Negative Effects Into Positive Effects for All Allies
  • Retro Vaccination: Heal Self and All Allies

9 S.H.I.E.L.D Medic, The Field Agent

Showcase of a 6-star S.H.I.E.L.D Medic from Marvel Strike Force.

S.H.I.E.L.D Medic is the first healer players gain access to in Marvel Strike Force, and offers a decent amount of aid during the early challenges of the game. Even though her Emergency Treatment only heals 1,500 HP, it's the passive that makes her a great healer.

Her passive has a 50% chance to heal the most injured ally and apply regeneration for two turns. And if a player has Nick Fury (one of the strongest heroes in the game, especially with his S.T.R.I.K.E. Anniversary costume) on the squad, then regeneration applies for another turn.

  • I.C.E.R. Pistol: Attack Primary Target and Apply Offense Down

His passive ability, Stars and Garters, applies regeneration to the most injured ally every turn. His second ability, Volatile Experiment, heals the two most wounded allies' Max Health by 20%, and removes two negative effects.

Players who enjoy competing in the real-time arena will be happy to know that Beast and his Uncanny X-Men teammates (Phoenix, Storm, Cyclops, Magik, or Wolverine) are among the best arena teams in the game.

7 Squirrel Girl, The Young Avenger

Squirrel Girl fighting an enemy Kree in Marvel Strike Force

Perhaps one of the oddest Marvel heroes to exist, Squirrel Girl uses her strange abilities to heal all of her allies, especially if they're part of the Young Avengers lineup. Her secondary ability, Eat Nuts, not only heals the entire team's Max Health by 15% but also clears all negative effects from allies.

On top of that, if a player places Squirrel Girl on War Defense, then all heroes/villains will heal and have all their negative effects cleared every turn. This is one of the keys to victory in War Defense.

Abilities

  • Passive: Unbeatable
  • Kick Butts: Attack Primary Target
  • Eat Nuts: Heal Allies
  • Squirrel Army: Attack All Enemies and Apply Heal Block

6 Mantis, The Cosmic Healer

Mantis and the Guardians of the Galaxy fighting an enemy S.H.I.E.L.D team in Marvel Strike Force

Mantis already showed her impressive abilities in the movie Avengers: Infinity War, so when FoxNext released her in Marvel Strike Force, players knew she would be a force to be reckoned with. At tier 7, her Empathy ability heals adjacent teammates by an astonishing 3,000 Health Points, which is one of the highest in the game.

  • Sleeeeep: Attack Primary Target and Stun
  • Empathy: Heal Self and Adjacent Allies
  • Soothe: Redistribute Health Between Self and Lowest Health Ally

5 Ebony Maw, Black Order's Spokesman

Black Order Squad made up of Cull Obsidian, Thanos, Corvus Glaive, Proxima Midknight, and Ebony Maw from Marvel Strike Force

Players who enjoy watching their enemies wither away before them will enjoy using Ebony Maw, since his healing kit is based on Health Steal. Ebony Maw's ultimate ability, Forced Transfusion, steals 3% HP from all enemies four times in a row and evenly distributes the stolen HP to his allies.

If the player runs a full Black Order team (which most players recommend, since Proxima Midknight is among the best-skilled villains in the game), they will notice that he grants even more buffs.

Abilities

  • Passive: Envoy of Thanos
  • Needle Storm: Attack Primary Target Three Times
  • Insidious Whisper: Apply Defense Up on Self and Allies
  • Forced Transfusion: Steal Health From All Enemies and Redistribute to Allies

Night Nurse (AKA Linda Carter) first made her debut in Marvel Comics in the early 1970s, and Marvel Strike Force's iteration of her remains faithful to the source material. Even though most of her skills heal, the one that stands out the most is her Ultimate, since it heals 4,000 Health Points.

On top of that, her passive, Triage, heals the most injured ally by 25% at the start of every turn. And if a player runs a full Shadowland squad (Daredevil, Elektra, and Moon Knight), then all of her skills apply two turns of regeneration.

Abilities

  • Passive: Triage
  • Self Defense: Attack Primary Target and Apply Slow
  • First Aid: Clear Negative Effects and Heal the Most Injured Ally
  • Urgent Care: Heal Allies

Despite being a lesser-known Marvel villain, Mister Sinister is quite popular in Marvel Strike Force since he possesses the unique ability of cloning enemies. His real skill, though, is healing the entire team with his secondary ability: Gene Therapy. On top of that, Gene Therapy copies positive effects and spreads them to his Mutant or cloned allies.

  • Psionic Beam: Attack Primary Target
  • Gene Therapy: Heal Allies
  • Clone: Clone a Primary Target

2 Shuri, The Wakandan Scientist

When FoxNext first released Shuri, many players were left with much to desire, since her healing kit was mediocre at best. Fortunately, after listening to the player base, FoxNext revamped her abilities, making Shuri a much-desired healer. Her Ultimate ability, Kimoyo Healing, not only recovers an injured ally's health by 2,000 points, but it also removes all negative effects.

1 Minn-Erva, The Kree Biologist

Minn-Erva fighting against Gamora, Drax, CrossBones, Quake, and Yondu from Marvel Strike Force.

Making her debut as the first Kree healer, Minn-Erva stands to be the all-out best healer in the game. Her secondary ability heals the most injured ally by 5,000 points and revives a dead teammate. And to make her even more OP, FoxNext made her Ultimate ability heal all teammates by 5,000 points plus apply Bleed to all enemies for two turns.

Fortunately, unlocking Minn-Erva takes time, since players need to farm her fragments in the Cosmic campaign. Not everyone can use her right off the bat, but she's worth the effort it takes to get her on the team.

Abilities

  • Passive: Kree Nanotech
  • Bio-Weapon: Attack Primary Target and Apply Bleed
  • Genetic Reconstruction: Heal Most Injured Ally
  • Mass Phlebotomy: Steal HP from All Enemies
