Then, a bright orange horizon gleams overtop a city skyline in the background, not unlike each of the film's theatrical posters, and was perhaps executed with deep adjustments and alterations made within Marvel's Spider-Man's elaborate Photo Mode feature. These distinctive elements collaged together replicate Spider-Man 2's marketing excellently. Rock Rider's conceptual recreation looks one-to-one with the theatrical movie posters that advertised Sam Raimi's Spider-Man sequel, fashioning together certain features that identify it as such.
Peter Parker and Otto Octavius in Marvel's Spider-Man are interpreted differently than their live-action character counterparts, though they are also similar with regard to their shared respect and scientific intellect. In Marvel's Spider-Man, Peter works under Otto's tutelage as a recent college graduate. In Spider-Man 2, Harry Osborn sets up a meeting between Peter and Otto since Peter is writing a school paper on him. Both the game and the film are beloved by Spider-Man fans, so a unique blend of the two makes for a spectacular fan piece from Rock Rider.
Further, fans have been able to homage and reimagine certain sequences in the game as if they were playing as Tobey Maguire's Spider-Man with the Webbed Suit cosmetic. The Webbed Suit cosmetic was a late yet highly fan-requested addition to Marvel's Spider-Man, and with it in the game fans have been able to produce fantastic concepts such as Rock Rider has.
