According to a developer from Second Dinner Studios on the Marvel Snap Reddit thread, it was confirmed that they will remove boosters from the collector cache and replace them with "Collector Tokens." These will be a new form of in-game currency that avid collectors can utilize to obtain new cards for their decks. A card will randomly rotate in the store, allowing for more chances of getting cards players may not have yet. Right now, gamers can obtain a mystery card by leveling up their card collection. Of course, some cards in Marvel Snap are better to utilize than others right from the start of a match.

Regarding when this new update to the collector cache will roll out, the developer, who went by "Stephen" on the Reddit thread, stated it should be out before the end of the year. Once the change goes into effect, gamers who have already opened their caches will still get the collector tokens they would have obtained instead. The reaction online seemed positive, with players anxious for the change to happen sooner rather than later. Besides the cards being the main draw of this title, players can't ignore that there are over 80 locations in Marvel Snap to place their cards in during battle. Each area has its unique effect, with some new locations recently added.

With an abundance of new Marvel content on the way, whether on Disney+ or heading to theaters such as Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania debuting in February, there will be no lack of new events in-game. Gamers can now dive into "Warriors of Wakanda" and try to snag a Black Panther card. This recent news is a step in the right direction for Marvel Snap, proving that Second Dinner Studios aims to keep its players happy.
