A Marvel Snap leak revealed the release date for the upcoming Savage Land event and other plans allegedly dropping next year. With the online card game moving on to the Power Cosmic event this December, players have been preparing to craft decks around newer cards like Galactus and Silver Surfer. But this latest leak might just force them to think of new card combinations ahead of time.

Each month, Marvel Snap has themed events that introduce new cards and locations. The latest one was November's Warriors of Wakanda, which is about to conclude in a few hours. It introduced the likes of Black Panther, Okoye, and Nakia, as well as locations such as Shuri's Lab and Warrior Waterfalls. These events also come with a Season Pass that rewards players with in-game currency, cards, variants, and card backs.

For January 2023, a leak suggested that Marvel Snap will be traveling to the Savage Land, which is a fictional prehistoric land located in Antarctica. According to datamined information from Marvel Snap Zone, the event will allegedly launch on January 2, 2023 and will end on February 6, 2023. The Premium Season Pass will cost $9.99, while Premium+ will be $14.99. Apart from the usual Credits, Gold, and Cards, there's no information yet on other Savage Land-exclusive items that players could get. But based on the screenshot posted on Marvel Snap Zone, players could expect new Kazar and Storm variants, and card backs.

Marvel Snap's Savage Land will also introduce the sabertooth tiger Zabu, who is said to be a 3-cost card with 2 power, with an Ongoing ability that would make 4-cost cards cost 2 less. The leak also revealed the upcoming Savage Land locations, namely Eternity Range, Altar of Death, Rickety Bridge, Collapsed Mine, and Plunder Castle.

In the current update of Marvel Snap, Savage Land is already an existing location, which adds two Raptors on each side once it's revealed. So, it will be interesting to see how the January 2023 event will further expand on Savage Land's lore. Also, while this information could still change in the following weeks, it wouldn't be surprising if players have already started rebuilding their existing Kazar decks in Marvel Snap to fit in Zabu.

Although Marvel Snap ran into some issues with the Collector's Cache feature recently, players still seem to be very much engrossed with the game. The consistent release of new content and cards might be overwhelming for some players, but it's proven to be a great way to keep Marvel Snap's meta fresh and engaging.

Marvel Snap is available now for Mobile and PC.
