There are a ton of cards for players to add to their collections in Marvel Snap, and they are grouped into three Collection Pools at the time of writing. The concept of Collection Pools may leave some players slightly confused, though, as it is not thoroughly detailed in-game. This guide is here to dispel that confusion, and fans can find an explanation of Marvel Snap's Collection Pools in what follows.

Marvel Snap: What Are Collection Pools?

Collection Pools are defined groups of cards that players will earn in a random order as they increase their Collection Levels in Marvel Snap. More specifically, fans will receive cards from Collection Pool 1 until they reach Collection Level 214, cards from Collection Pool 2 from Collection Level 222 to 450, and cards from Collection Pool 3 at Collection Level 462 and beyond. This means that players can expect to have a complete set of Collection Pool 1 cards at Level 214 and a complete set of Collection Pool 2 cards at Level 450.

Things are slightly more complicated with Collection Pool 3, though, as there is an element of randomness to card acquisition at higher Collection Levels. As such, there is not a fixed level at which every player will complete their sets of Collection Pool 3 cards, though that tends to occur at around Collection Level 3,000. Reaching that level is certainly no small task, and fans that are interested in obtaining every card in Marvel Snap should prepare themselves for a long grind.

To note, developer Second Dinner has confirmed that a mechanic that will facilitate targeted card acquisition is in the works. This mechanic takes the form of Collector Tokens, a free-to-earn currency that can be used to purchase specific cards through the Token Shop. While Marvel Snap players will need to put some effort toward monitoring the cards that are available in the shop, Collector Tokens will make it possible to target cards that are of interest.

For those players that would like a comprehensive understanding of the cards that are available in each of the Collection Pools, this Marvel Snap Card Database is an excellent resource. Indeed, a player cans see what they are working toward at their current Collection Level by filtering this database by Collection Pool. Fans of digital card games can also filter by keywords and sort by power and cost, allowing them to zero in on cards that may be a good fit for their decks.

Marvel Snap is available for mobile devices and PC.
