Discard decks are a great option for players that want to be aggressive in Marvel Snap, and it is possible to build one as early as Pool 1. While a Pool 1 Discard deck will certainly not be as potent as its Pool 2 counterpart, it is still perfectly capable of winning games. This guide is here to give players a good shot at those wins by detailing the best options for putting together a Pool 1 Discard deck in Marvel Snap.

Before getting into a specific list, it is important to note that Blade, Angela, Wolverine, Lady Sif, Sword Master, and Apocalypse are all critical components of a Pool 1 Discard deck. Players that are missing some of these cards are thus advised to look toward other options while they work to increase their Collection Levels in Marvel Snap. Fortunately, it does not take too long to amass all the Pool 1 cards, provided that the player is diligent about completing daily missions.

As previously mentioned, Blade, Angela, Wolverine, Lady Sif, Sword Master, and Apocalypse are the core of this Pool 1 Discard deck, and they are supported by a cast of cards with low energy costs. This focus on cheap cards serves several purposes, allowing Marvel Snap players to consistently trigger Angela and activate Ant-Man. A low curve also makes it possible for players to quickly unload their hands, setting them up to discard Apocalypse multiple times before he is put into play on Turn 6.

For those players that may be missing some supporting cards from this list, Hawkeye, Quicksilver, and Rocket Raccoon are one-cost cards in Marvel Snap that can be used if absolutely necessary. Fans could also replace America Chavez with Iron Man, and indeed that card will actually be better in some situations. Enchantress is another option that players can consider for this deck, especially if they are running into a lot of Devil Dinosaurs and Strong Guys.

To note, there is a huge pickup for this deck in Marvel Snap's Pool 2 in the form of Swarm. Indeed, discarding Swarm provides a tremendous amount of value, and fans should swap Elektra, Korg, or Yondu out for it. Morbius also appears in Pool 2, and it fits into this deck quite nicely.

Marvel Snap is available for mobile devices and PC.
