In the card game Marvel Snap, players will find that in order to win a game, they must conquer at least two of the three locations that reside on the virtual table. There's the left location, the middle location, and the right location. All of these locations reveal themselves randomly, so it's up to the player to decide what the best strategy for that match is.

Luckily, there are some cards that perform well in certain locations rather than being played upon others, and the left location is no exception to that. Many cards in Marvel Snap have abilities that allow themselves to reveal their complete potential when played on the right location, so it should be a priority that players use the appropriate cards there.

8 Klaw

The villainous Klaw is one of Marvel Snap's cards that apply power to a location next to him; his ability gives the location to his right a +6 boost in power. Because of this ability, Klaw is a wonderful asset to the left or middle location and can definitely achieve a quick victory when played on the left location.

Many strategies that utilize Ongoing cards can effectively make Klaw push past his initial potential. Onslaught can double his ability. Klaw is in pool 1 of Marvel Snap, so players can expect to obtain him pretty quickly. He's great for beginners.

7 Giganto

Giganto is a 6-cost card and one of the few that pack an incredible punch. Because he has such high power, Giganto is limited to only the left location. Fortunately, that is no fault if the player is looking to challenge the left location to win.

Players utilizing movement-based decks can also move Giganto around if they find him better elsewhere. Either way, Giganto is a heavy force that can make for a landslide victory. Giganto is obtained in pool 3 of Marvel Snap and sometimes drawn from locations.

6 Heimdall

heimdall in marvel snap

Heimdall is a 6-cost card that is almost essential for any player focusing on movement cards, like Nightcrawler or Kraven. His ability allows him to send all other friendly cards one location to the left while he does not move from his location.

Playing him on any location can be nice, but playing him on the left will allow for a higher boost in power and ally support should he move others to his spot. Since he's on the left, other cards will move to his location if they were in the middle, adding their power to his and gaining any movement-reliant power boosts. Heimdall is in pool 1.

5 Kingpin

Kingpin is yet another card that likes to focus on movement, but in a much different way. Kingpin has the ability to destroy cards that move to his location on turn 6. This is a blatant counter to any movement based decks, and will definitely counter any opponent who is using a deck focused on Heimdall.

Kingpin basically locks down the left location from any movement cards, so he can be a great asset when focusing on the left location. He can also be great with any friendly cards that move enemy cards. Kingpin is obtained in pool 3. There are plenty of cards that work great with this one.

4 Iron-Fist

Iron-Fist is one more fantastic choice for any players looking for movement cards. This Marvel hero only costs 1-energy, making him a quick and easy play. His ability allows him to move the next card the player plays one location to the left.

Because of this ability, it can be a great strategy to place Iron-Fist on the left location, so that cards can essentially move toward him. This is great with cards that rely on movement for power or cards that rely on the number of friendly cards in a location. Iron-Fist is obtained in pool 1.

3 Mister Fantastic

MARVEL SNAP

Just like he is as great of a card in the middle location, Mister Fantastic can definitely be beneficial when played onto the left location. His ability allows him to add +2 power to any of his adjacent locations. When Mister Fantastic is played on the left, this means that he will give the middle location an additional 2 power from his ability.

This essentially makes Reed Richards a weaker form of Klaw, but he costs less either way. It's good for any player looking to acquire the left and middle locations. Mister Fantastic is one of the beginner cards.

2 Ms. Marvel

Just like her stretchy friend over in the Fantastic 4, Ms. Marvel has the ability to where if she is the only card in that location, she provides +5 power to her adjacent locations. Because of her unique ability, she can be a great strategy when utilized on the left location.

If the player isn't looking to focus too much on the left, Ms. Marvel can be a great way to boost the middle location without taking up a spot there. Though, she does provide her own power to the left location if the player chooses to challenge there.

1 Sentry

the sentry in marvel snap

Sentry is one of the best cards in Marvel Snap when it comes to the left location. This is because his ability states that he can't be played in the right location, so it's a good strategy to play him on the left. When Sentry is played, he adds a -8-power Void card to the right location.

This is to make up for his incredible 10-power, and he only costs 4! Sentry is an essential card for any player driving to take over the left location, and the revelation of The Void can make a great card for any destruction decks.

Marvel Snap is available on PC and Mobile.
