The Marvel banner has been a part of the main Disney Plus page since the beginning. However, the banner has now been given an update to better reflect Marvel Studios' Phase 4 MCU projects.

Ever since launching back in 2019, Disney Plus has offered plenty of content, including originals, to keep many fans satisfied. One of the biggest components of the platform is having nearly every Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) film ready to stream. As the universe continues to expand in bold directions, with recent releases like Chloé Zhao's Eternals introducing a wide array of exciting new characters, Disney Plus has finally updated its official Marvel banner to reflect those changes.

Originally, Disney Plus' Marvel banner featured the classic Avengers team like Iron Man, Captain America, and the Hulk. The new banner, which is much more colorful and cosmic-esque, showcases the new heroes like Wanda Maximoff / Scarlet Witch, Shang-Chi, Captain Marvel, and Sam Wilson's new Captain America ready to lead Marvel's Phase 4. After Avengers: Endgame wrapped up many storylines and character arcs in spectacular fashion, it'll be interesting to see how Phase 4 and beyond switches things up, especially with multiverse building up through the last year in series like WandaVision and Loki.

The multiverse is being further explored in big upcoming films like Spider-Man: No Way Home and Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. The MCU will have a lot of content to juggle, but they will no doubt find a way to connect every narrative into one memorable overarching story. Upcoming Marvel projects for Disney Plus include Hawkeye, Moon Knight, She-Hulk, Secret Invasion, Ms. Marvel, The Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special, Ironheart, Armor Wars, and an untitled Wakanda series.

The two-year anniversary celebration, which is now being referred to as Disney Plus Day, was held on November 12th and marked the debut of new releases to the streaming service such as Jungle Cruise and Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings. There were other perks of such as early entry into Disney theme parks and limited-time offers for new subscribers.

In addition to this, Disney Plus will also be upgrading 13 of its Marvel films to the IMAX aspect ratio, which will allow for up to 26% more image for viewers to experience. The streaming service reported this past July that it has reached 116 million subscribers, roughly halfway to its ultimate goal of 230 million subscribers by 2044.
