Thanks to Marvel's Avengers, fans of the Earth's Mightiest Heroes can be their favorite member of the Avengers and save the day. Square Enix and Crystal Dynamics made sure to give players a unique in-game narrative that fits a Marvel storyline. As such, players can feel as though they're Captain America, Iron Man, Kamala Khan, or even Black Widow as the team works together to save the world. Thankfully, Marvel's Avengers also lets players do this in style.

Black Widow is loved for her versatility and skillset, despite lacking superpowers. As a super spy, Natasha Romanoff can use martial arts, firearms, and gadgets to defeat both superpowered and ordinary enemies. Thanks to her work, Black Widow needs to wear various tactical suits and disguises to pull off her mission. And in Marvel's Avengers, just which of Black Widow's outfits look the best?

10 Dustwalker (Legendary)

Dustwalker

Dustwalker serves as Black Widow's take on a tactical civilian garb, as though someone had just called for backup while she's in her morning run. As such, this outfit is as civilian as it gets.

With this outfit, Black Widow sports a leather hoodie with grey jeans and black combat boots. She has a single hip holster strapped to her right thigh and ponytailed hair. Interestingly, two things serve as indications of her superhero status: Her signature logo as a belt buckle and her wrist bands.

9 Saboteur (Legendary)

Saboteur

Fans of the Cinematic Universe would recognize Black Widow as a SHIELD Agent working for Nick Fury, although she doesn't wear a SHIELD outfit much in the same way Maria Hill does. In Marvel's Avengers, Saboteur captures this design scheme. Unlike her signature black tactical suit, the game lets Black Widow sport a navy blue SHIELD-esque uniform.

This outfit comes with a two-color tactical suit, with a navy blue exterior with light blue highlights. The gear comes with its set of black combat shoes and combat gloves, as well as various belts that strap a pair of pistols and her batons. Black Widow's signature wrist bands also appear here, this time in jet black.

8 Role Series (Epic)

Role Series

Players who want a stricter approach to Black Widow's costume would appreciate her role series of Epic skins. These come in the Security, Ranger, and Patrol skins. As such, these outfits help Black Widow with disguises, this time in the form of usual security roles in sensitive areas. As with her other disguise outfits, these outfits all share color schemes that blend in with the role Black Widow wants to partake.

However, all these outfits do share similar themes. For instance, Natasha wears a vest over a long-sleeved shirt. In addition, Black Widow wears a pair of ventilated pants with combat boots. She also maintains two holsters and the usual hip belt. Her signature wristbands also become less prominent and blend well with her armor. She finishes this look with a cap, giving her that "girl scout" vibe.

7 Tactical (Rare)

Tactical

Black Widow's first appearance in the Cinematic Universe gives her a simple adaptation of her tactical suit. However, more visually-oriented fans in the audience might feel a conflict between the signature Black Widow identity and her allegiance with SHIELD. Thankfully, Marvel's Avengers addresses this with Tactical – an outfit that blends these two elements perfectly.

With Tactical, Black Widow gets a plain full-body grey tactical suit, denoting that it's a somehow "regular" uniform for agents. The blue SHIELD motif becomes largely absent. This great blend between "normal secret agent" and the Black Widow identity becomes reflected with the standard array of dual pistol holsters, a shoulder-to-underarm strap, combat boots, and even gloves.

6 Shade Strike (Rare)

Shade Strike

Shade Strike becomes the Black Widow outfit fans would want Natasha to have once they see it. Like most Black Widow outfit, Shade Strike also relies on Natasha wearing a tactical suit. However, it's the color scheme that makes the dream work with this outfit – as the mix of grey, black, and red hues blend perfectly for that super-spy look.

For instance, Shade Strike has Black Widow sporting a grey tactical suit. Light grey encompasses the minor details of the suit, lined with red highlights that give it a unique sheen. Meanwhile, black details surround the suit in the form of her holster, a major chest strap, as well as her knee pads and combat boots. Finally, red straps and details outline the suit and her signature wrist bands, as though signaling her lethal nature.

5 Codename Series (Legendary)

Codename Series

Thanks to her Codename series of Legendary outfits, fans get a taste of Black Widow's undercover life in Marvel's Avengers. The outfits Codenames Tsarina, Mary, Laura, and Oktober only differ in terms of color schemes. However, their motif stays the same, and they all capture Black Widow's specialization in blending in with civilian environments. Unlike Dustwalker, the Codename outfits seem built to help Black Widow blend in with crowds, making this perfect for open-world roaming.

All outfits will have Black Widow wear an overcoat of varying designs fully buttoned and close, with her emblem serving as the buckle of its belt. Moreover, she sports jeans and knee-high boots, preserving her flexibility. Additionally, she retains her wristbands, both of which help maintain the sleek look of these disguises.

4 Dawn (Rare)

Dawn

Fans looking for a more militaristic look for Black Widow would appreciate the Dawn outfit. Unlike her other outfits, Dawn gives Black Widow that office vibe. As such, fans who want to imagine as though they're controlling Black Widow following orders from the military would love this alternate look.

With this outfit, Black Widow sports a grey full-sleeved shirt with tactical harnesses, alongside a pair of tactical gloves and her signature wristbands. Meanwhile, she wears a pair of camo green pants with combat boots, adorned with knee guards and a dual pistol holster. Her emblem becomes the buckle of her belt.

3 Lethal (Rare)

Lethal

Black Widow goes all out with this outfit, proving she's capable of being merciless should the need arise. Unlike her other suits, Lethal does away with the need to disguise. As such, this look sports a dominant red color scheme, supported by black and grey highlights. She wears her usual pair of knee guards, combat boots, and combat gloves. She also sports her signature wristbands, with her emblem serving as her belt buckle.

However, unlike her other outfits, Black Widow does away with all the need for stealth. With Lethal, it's as though Black Widow's directives are to clear the objective as fast as possible, regardless of the casualties.

2 Stark Tech (Epic)

Stark Tech

Some fans might become abrasive of anyone other than Iron Man wearing Stark-stylized armor – except Iron-Spider (the Web-Crawler Spider-Man's outfit in the Civil War comics). However, Black Widows proves fans wrong with her Stark Tech outfit. In a unique twist, Stark Tech gives Black Widow both the benefits of her tactical suit and Stark-inspired tech. As such, this outfit fully gives Black Widow that futuristic spy look without overselling the theme.

For instance, Stark Tech gives two recognizable things to Black Widow: A pair of stylish goggles and metal plates to her armor. Her signature black tactical suit gets grey highlights with details resembling circuitry (complete with blinking lights). She also gets golden plated metal boots, shoulder plates, and arm guards, complete with sturdier-looking wristbands.

1 Classic Stealth (Epic)

Classic Stealth

Comic books fans will appreciate the inclusion of Black Widow's staple outfit. Marvel's Avengers take on Black Widow's signature combat suit becomes both a faithful and modern interpretation of her most recognizable costume. With Classic Stealth, Black Widow goes back to her shiny spandex suit. However, this time the glossier fabric indicates some sort of thicker fabric. She also sports two pistol holsters. Perhaps most notable are her golden armbands (definitely a signature) and her unique golden belt, stylized to fit her red logo.

Albeit overused in the comics, this Black Widow outfit serves as a welcome change of pace for artists who try to make her look extremely tactical. After all, this signature costume shares an important tenet of Black Widow's outfit: minimalist works.
