Following the release of last week's character trailer focusing on Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle's titular hero, Ubisoft has decided to put out a brand new piece of footage that highlights another figure in the game's roster of colorful personalities. As it so happens, the publisher and developer has decided to shine the spotlight on Rabbid Luigi this time around in order to detail his variety of elemental abilities and overall skill set.

As seen below in the latest trailer for Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle, Rabbid Luigi has plenty of unique attacks and special skills, with one of his primary weapons being a Bworb, which seems to be a yo-yo that serves up different fire-based offensives. Plus, he also has rockets that can be shot out of the Bullenator and Stinger that have an area of attack similar to a secondary weapon.

While Rabbid Luigi's attacks definitely prove that he will be able to dish out some serious damage in Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle, it's his elemental abilities that really allow him to shine, as his buffs can be used to protect himself from attacks and their effects, while he's also able to lower enemy attack power, making him a formidable support character. Furthermore, Rabbid Luigi can make use of what is known as a Vamp Dash, which lets him slide-tackle foes to drain their health and restore his own.

One of the biggest surprises of E3 2017, Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle looks to be an incredibly exciting release coming for the Nintendo Switch, as it will not only help expand the exclusive game library for the console, but also provide a unique blend of what is arguably the Big N's most recognizable franchise and the alien-like creatures from Ubisoft's Rayman universe. Bearing all of this in mind, it will be interesting to see how the title's sales stack up against its competitors once it releases later this month.

Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle is set to launch on August 29, 2017 for Nintendo Switch.
