There are several different types of unlockables in Mario Party Superstars, including stickers, card designs, and music. While players will earn many of these unlockables through standard gameplay, some fans may prefer to take a more systematic approach and be certain that they obtain absolutely everything. This guide is here to assist with that endeavor, and it will provide details on all of Mario Party Superstars’ unlockables.
Before getting into those unlockables, though, it is worth noting that all of the boards and characters in Mario Party Superstars are available upon starting the game. This means that players should not put any effort toward unlocking more characters or boards, as it is simply not possible to do so. While this may change in the future, Nintendo has not officially confirmed any post-launch additions to the title, and fans may thus need to be satisfied with what is contained in the base game.
Mario Party Superstars Unlockables
With that established, here is information on all of the categories of unlockables in Mario Party Superstars and how fans can go about earning them:
Stickers
There are a total of 67 stickers in Mario Party Superstars, and they can be purchased with varying amounts of coins from Toad’s Shop. Not all of these stickers will be available straight away, though, and a player will need to increase their Mario Party Level to 35 before they are able to access all of them.
Card Designs
Card designs are another unlockable that fans will buy from Toad’s Shop. While players will be able to purchase many of the designs without fulfilling any requirements, beyond having the requisite number of coins, there are some that can only be bought after games have been completed on each of the five boards in Mario Party Superstars.
Encyclopedia
Yet another unlockable that is available in Toad’s Shop, players that want to obtain all of the encyclopedia pages will need to amass quite a lot of coins. As is the case with the aforementioned card designs, many of these pages are available right out of the gate, though some are locked behind playing Mario Party Superstars' minigames on all five boards.
Music
The last of the unlockables that are purchased from Toad’s Shop, Mario Party fans will once again need to play games on the Peach’s Birthday Cake, Space Land, Horror Land, Woody Woods, Yoshi’s Tropical Island boards before they can buy all of its music.
Achievements
There are 50 achievements to unlock in Mario Party Superstars, and each one grants a title that players can display on their Mario Party Cards. To view these achievements, players should simply look to the constellations that are accessed through the Data House.
Credits
The last thing that players can unlock are the game’s closing credits, and that is done by reaching Mario Party Level 50.
