The current Battle Tour ends on October 18, which is the same day the Halloween Tour begins in Mario Kart Tour. The latest Mario Kart Tour trailer announces the Halloween Tour begins on October 18 at 11 PM PDT with the remade Boo Lake course. The classic course has not been featured in a major Mario Kart game since 2001 in Mario Kart: Super Circuit for the Game Boy Advance. Nearly 21 years later, the Boo Lake course was remade for Mario Kart Tour's Halloween event. Other courses featured in the Halloween Tour include the Twilight House battle course for Mario Kart Tour's battle mode and the standard Ghost Valley 2 course. The Halloween Tour will be active until November 1 at 10:59 PM PDT.RELATED: Tag Heuer Reveals Pricey Mario Kart WatchesMario Kart Tour players will race across a floating wooden pier in the remade Boo Lake course, and Boos may be seen hovering above the racetrack. Although Boo Lake has changed drastically since its initial appearance, many elements from the original Mario Kart: Super Circuit course were faithfully recreated. For instance, the haunted mansion seen in the background of the course has been remade for Mario Kart Tour. Mario Kart Tour's Boo Lake course also features newly-arranged music to go along with its updated graphics.

The Halloween Tour introduces new cosmetics and karts such as the Dry Bones Mii racing suit, the gold Petey Piranha driver, and the Gold Trickster kart. Players who participate in the Halloween Tour may earn new rewards for placing high in the ranked cups. One of these rewards include a new driver, and the Red Vampire Flyer kart may be earned as well.

Boo Lake has been a highly requested track for modern Mario Kart games such as Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, and the course's inclusion in Mario Kart Tour is a welcomed one. Mario Kart 8 Deluxe introduced Mario Kart Tour tracks with the Booster Course Pass, so Boo Lake has the potential to make its way into the Nintendo Switch game in the near future.

Android and iOS users may jump right into Mario Kart Tour and take part in the Halloween Tour immediately when it launches. Nintendo will likely reveal the next tour by the end of October, so players should act fast to earn the new Halloween rewards before Thanksgiving festivities begin. November should be another eventful month for strictly free-to-play gamers as Mario Kart Tour operates without controversial gacha elements.

Mario Kart Tour is available now for Android and iOS.
