With about seven years after the last installment to the series, Mario Golf: Super Rush is finally available for golf fans to enjoy their favorite game with a bit of a twist. While the general idea of golf is the same, there are plenty of pro tips and tricks to give players an upper hand while facing off against the game's many challenges.

This time around, there are plenty of new bosses in Mario Golf: Super Rush that will require players to use every trick at their disposal. One way for fans to do well in the game is to collect all the different coins that appear on the track and through different missions.

Depending on what kind of game mode players are on, these coins can actually have vastly different effects and methods of obtaining. So for Mario Golf: Super Rush fans looking to improve their gameplay, here is how to collect coins and what they can be used for.

When playing the Speed and Battle Golf modes, coins will appear directly on the track or when players are hit by opponents and stage hazards. These can be used to fill up the character's power meter to unleash their special shot, which gives the playable character an extreme boost in power.

Gold Coins are used as currency for purchasing better equipment and other items when playing the Golf Adventure mode. The main way to earn coins in Adventure mode is by completing the game's mission and optional side quests. Simply search out the NPCs with the blue exclamation mark and finish their request, which usually results in players practicing one of the core game mechanics. Just make sure never to restart a mission; gamers will still be rewarded coins for their effort even if they are losing.

Money can also appear on the many different golf courses in adventure mode as well, so be sure to take the extra time to gather them all since there isn't as much of a time crunch as there would be in Speed or Battle Gold mode. When fans have enough coins, they can bring them to any of the shops in adventure mode to purchase items that can help with stat buffs like better wind resistance with shots and new shoes for running faster in hazardous terrain. Hopefully, this guide helps gamers have a better understanding of this core mechanic so that they can play to the best of their ability.
