In the midst of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, people are looking for digital outlets for movies, shows, books, and comics. Mangamo, a new manga subscription service, is hoping to capitalize on the demand. Mangamo is available now on iOS devices, soon to be available on Android, and even has a two-month free trial.

Mangamo is partnering with 11 different manga publishers from Japan, China, and Korea. Partners include Kodansha, Comicsmart, TOPPAN, and North Star Pictures. The service offers more than 300 different series in total, with Attack on Titan being perhaps the most notable book.

The new manga subscription company is coming from executives familiar with the industry, with experience from companies including Crunchyroll, Netflix, VIZ, and Hulu. They'll hopefully use their experience to make Mangamo easy to use and approachable for new readers, while still providing a ton of content for manga lovers.

Mangamo is available now on iOS devices for a low monthly price of just $4.99. For those who aren't sure whether the service is worth it yet, or who don't trust a new platform that hasn't proven itself, Mangamo is providing a two-month free trial. It might be exactly what comic and manga readers stuck at home might need to survive the current crisis.
