Microsoft has revealed two new, custom-designed Xbox Series X controllers in collaboration with the hit Disney+ series, The Mandalorian. The release of The Mandalorian-themed controllers comes just in time for its Season 2 finale streaming on Friday, December 18.

The series set in the Star Wars universe takes place approximately 10 years after the events of the original trilogy. The show has proven so popular that Disney recently announced a slew of spin-offs, some of which directly tie in to The Mandalorian.

Detailed in a post on its official website, Xbox Principal Designer Elliot Hsu explains the team-up with LucasFilm Games to create the Star Wars controllers. The custom controllers each feature a sketch; one of Grogu (aka The Child, aka Baby Yoda), and the other of Mando himself. Both designs feature a bright color scheme, a markedly different approach than the Xbox One Mandalorian controller. Grogu's features the little creature using the Force against "Tatooine tangerine" background, while Mando's "Tython turquoise" provides a contrast against his shiny beskar armor. Both of the controllers are one of one, and the only way players can get their hands on them is by entering in the sweepstakes.

The Xbox Series X controllers are in no way for sale, so winning them isn't just The Way, it's the only way. From December 17 through December 28, any US residents over the age of 18 who follow the official Xbox Twitter are eligible. All players have to do is simply retweet the Xbox sweepstakes tweet with the hashtag #TheMandalorianXboxSweepstakes for a chance to win. The sweepstakes winner will receive the exclusive devices in a custom Star Wars-themed mailer, complete with custom "This is The Way" graphics, the series logo, and what looks like a message written in Aurebesh.

The designs are positioned in such a way that both of the characters are looking at each other when placed together. The unique sketch, almost comic book-like design of Grogu and Mando along with the unique bright backgrounds are sure to be highly sought after. However, this isn't the only custom Xbox controller giveaway currently going on. Xbox is also giving away a Cyberpunk 2077 inspired bionic arm and controller.

While the release of custom and limited edition controllers seem to be getting more frequent, they're usually expensive or hard to get. Some artistically skilled players have taken the DIY route, creating custom Xbox controllers of their own. For games that are maybe not-so-artistic, The Mandalorian sweepstakes is easy and free to enter.
