The Mandalorian's second season is getting an artwork book that gives fans a behind-the-scenes glimpse at the Disney Plus series. Now, fans can see the cover of the book, which features Star Wars fans' favorite adoptive father and son duo, Grogu and Din Djarin.

The Mandalorian season 2 ended with a bang in a finale where many surprises were revealed. It ended with Grogu being prepared for training in a very emotional scene for fans that opened up the plot for this Star Wars spin-off going forward. It was also nice for Star Wars fans to see Mark Hamill's Luke Skywalker in a much more heroic role than his appearance in The Last Jedi.

The Mandalorian is a show that follows Din Djarin on his quest to protect a baby who's sensitive to the force, which makes him a target of multiple factions for different reasons. The bond between the two is what makes people stay for the show, and the action/story is the drawing factor for many fans who have never seen Star Wars. The show doesn't require new fans to rewatch any of the movies either, which is helpful.

The third season of The Mandalorian won't hit Disney Plus until next year, at the earliest. The story is what many are anticipating after the way second season finished, and The Mandalorian served as a backdoor pilot for The Book of Boba Fett, which will follow the famous bounty hunter in his quest around the galaxy. Plot details are scarce, as they do a good job of keeping things quiet until fans actually watch the shows on episode release day.

Star Wars has been doing good at keeping the momentum up by consistently providing content for fans. They are rumored to have a Mandalorian video game in the works, multiple animated series coming out, and more movies that aren't restricted to the Skywalker storyline. Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic was also announced with a trailer that didn't reveal much besides a CGI updated version of the game.

The Mandalorian will return, so fans should rest assured. It will be hard to wait a whole year without the show for some, especially because it had an annual debut for each of its two seasons around the holidays, but fans will be getting plenty of other Star Wars content to hold them over until their favorite bounty hunter returns.

The Mandalorian seasons 1-2 are now available on Disney Plus.
