With The Mandalorian on Disney's metaphorical back burner at the moment, now is an excellent time to speculate wildly and without reason about what might come next for the hugely popular series. Luckily for those with a less than creative imagination, a rather talented poster artist has taken care of that part. So all that's left is the wondering.

Artist Russell Walks created an impressive piece depicting Grogu (a.k.a Baby Yoda) and his new Jedi Master Luke Skywalker, seemingly in the process of constructing a lightsaber for the former. In a photorealistic style similar to classic Drew Struzan movie posters and even The Mandalorian's own character promos (complete with the same amber-centric color scheme), the piece digs up a bit of nostalgia for classic Star Wars while remaining firmly focused on the future.

Perhaps the most gossip-worthy aspect of the poster, titled "Size Matters Not," is the presence of a lightsaber itself. Walks may be an independent artist, but the actual artwork is an officially licensed piece of Star Wars merchandise, leading to the possible conclusion that it may very well hint at Gorgu's Star Wars story going forward. If that's the case, then the presence of a yellow lightsaber crystal (yes, that's what Luke is levitating above his hand like a freshly exploded popcorn kernel) becomes all the more interesting.

For those less familiar with the Star Wars franchise, yellow lightsabers aren't exactly commonplace. The vast majority of the laser swords tend to be either blue or green for Jedi and red for Sith/other baddies. Other colors like yellow, orange and purple are far less common. Whether that has anything to do with the rarity of the crystals or the writers' love of fashion is anyone's guess, but the fact remains that the last time a yellow lightsaber was seen in the Star Wars canon was Rey's newly constructed weapon at the end of The Rise of Skywalker.

Perhaps this means that particular color will become more common in the franchise from this point on? Sure, that's possible. But even more exciting is the chance that viewers will get to see the little not-quite-Yoda not only creating his own lightsaber but maybe even wielding it at some point in the next season of The Mandalorian. It's already been speculated that Grogu could even meet a young Kylo Ren at Luke's Jedi academy, so a lightsaber wouldn't be all that much of a stretch.

Or maybe it's just a cool piece of Mandalorian artwork and it has nothing to do with anything. That's also a distinct possibility. Sometimes a poster is just a poster, after all. If anyone is interested in purchasing a print of the poster, they can do so at the Shop Trends website.

The Mandalorian seasons 1-2 are now available on Disney Plus.
