Another week of the Magic Legends beta has come and gone and another update is here. This week's update is much smaller than some of the significant developer update blog posts from executive producer Steve Ricossa, but there are still some exciting details for fans to absorb, including intel on two new events.

The general section of the Magic Legends update includes the announcements for both a Summoner's Draw event and a 50% Bonus XP Weekend Event. These two events should both help motivate testers to stay engaged with the beta content in the coming days and put in more hours over the weekend, which will hopefully lead to more feedback and additional improvements to the tabletop card game inspired ARPG.

It's been a pretty quiet week for Magic Legends, but things are progressing smoothly as the dev team continues to roll out bug fixes, make some significant quality of life improvements, and give a preview of what recurring events might be like after the game's full rollout. So far all of the events have been fairly short weekend festivities, but hopefully down the road players might see some longer events with more extensive features and limited time bonuses or challenges.

The new events will only be live for a few days, so be sure to login and take advantage of it while it's around.  Those are all of the public updates that have arrived for this week, but there's always a chance some additional news, announcements, or surprise events could pop up in the coming days. Be sure to keep a close eye out for any changes and check back for more Magic: Legends guides and news.

There is still no full release date available for the game and it's unclear exactly when the Xbox and Playstation versions are going to be available. Hopefully PC and console gamers can see a full release sometime in late 2021.

Magic: Legends is available now as an open beta on PC, and releases fully in 2021 on PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
