Madden NFL 22 is the latest entry in the Madden video game series, and the game was released to a mixed reception by critics and players. One of the frequent reasons reported was the initial bugginess in the game, like the 'Loss Glitch' in Madden NFL 22 that frustrated players.

However, Madden NFL 22 continued to receive new updates in order to fix issues in the game and improve its existing game features. With such changes, some players speculate a new game mode will also be added to the game. However, players expecting that type of new content will be disappointed since there are no plans for new game modes in Madden NFL 22 right now.

In a recent interview with IGN, the game's executive producer Seann Graddy shared some details about Madden NFL 22. Near the end of the interview, the interviewer mentioned that the developer added new game modes and features in previous title updates, like the Superstar KO feature. Graddy was asked how "ambitious" should players expect the roadmap of content for the game to be going forward. He responded that the content will be "slightly less ambitious" than previous years and will not have a new game mode.

Graddy said that the developers are focusing efforts on some of the "core areas" of Madden NFL 22 and added that development for Madden NFL 23 will be starting up "in a big way." He also emphasized that Madden will continue to be a live service game and will be updated. However, he also said in the interview, "we’re definitely not going to be talking about a brand new mode."

Graddy stated that there is already a variety of ways for Madden NFL 22 to be enjoyed by players, and there's an opportunity for those existing elements to be improved and evolve. This was discussed earlier in the interview when it came to the latest title update for the game. At the beginning of the interview, Graddy was asked his perspective on the game's progress after its initial release. Graddy replied by saying he believes the game has been improving since its launch and that he was excited about the latest title update, saying it will add "new ways to engage."

Part of the new update for Madden NFL 22 is the highly requested scouting feature update for the Face of the Franchise game mode. The title update also includes a ranked mode in The Yard, new gameplay abilities, tuning, and various NFL Authenticity updates. For now, Madden players can look forward new updates to Madden NFL 22, but not any additional game modes.

Madden NFL 22 is available now on PC, PS4, PS5, Stadia, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
