EA Sports recently revealed its Madden NFL 20 player ratings. Some NFL stars are no doubt happy with their Madden NFL 20 ratings, like cover athlete Patrick Mahomes, who has the highest quarterback rating at 97. However, Madden NFL 20 can't rate all players highly, and so there are understandably some who are unhappy with their ratings in the upcoming game.

Since EA Sports released the Madden NFL 20 player ratings, there has been a variety of reactions from NFL stars on social media. Most of the negative reactions seem somewhat tongue-in-cheek, but some players do seem genuinely offended by their Madden NFL 20 player rating, and provide breakdowns that explain why they disagree with how they scored in certain areas.

Fans also took issue with some Madden NFL 20 player ratings. For example, Tom Brady's Madden NFL 20 player rating is 96, with a 60 in speed. One Twitter user disagreed with this assessment, claiming that even he was faster than Tom Brady. Brady then posted an edited video showing him running through his backyard with the speed of The Flash to prove he deserved his Madden NFL 20 speed rating.

It's worth pointing out that Madden NFL 20 player ratings could change as the season progresses. Since Madden NFL games are now basically live-service titles, EA Tiburon is able to update the games throughout the year to more accurately reflect what is happening in the actual NFL.

We've already seen EA Tiburon and EA Sports update past Madden NFL games to keep up with the times. For example, there was one instance where a song lyric referencing controversial NFL player and political activist Colin Kaepernick was censored in Madden NFL 19. Following some backlash, EA then patched the game to add Colin Kaepernick's name back to the song.

But while Madden NFL 20 player ratings may be adjusted once the actual season starts, it's unlikely that player ratings will change all that dramatically. Football fans will just have to wait and see once the preseason starts on August 1, which is just one day before Madden NFL 20 launches worldwide on multiple platforms.

Madden NFL 20 will launch on August 2 for PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
