Four Lycorises Down

The episode begins with Kusunoki being informed of a fourth assault on a Lycoris. The DA has erupted into chaos. Chisato is called early in the morning and is informed by Inoue of the recent attacks. Although neither is sure why the attacks are happening, Inoue suspects it could have something to do with the Radiata Hacking. Inoue requests that she and Chisato stay together at all times for safety reasons, and shows up mid-phone call to Chisato's apartment.

Despite the serious situation, Chisato excitedly rebrands it as a sleepover. After the theme song, we see Inoue contemplating the mostly empty apartment. Chisato then shows her a secret entrance to the actual apartment, revealing that the empty apartment above is simply a dummy apartment to hide Chisato's actual living space. Speaking of, Chisato's apartment is a mess, with DVDs and food everywhere. Chisato also tells Inoue that this is one of four safe houses.

Immediately after settling in, Inoue decides to schedule a chore chart. Chisato simply calls the plan boring, leaving Inoue to innovate a way to keep Chisato on track. This leaves the girls playing rock-paper-scissors to decide who gets what chore. Chisato ends up winning every single match, and Inoue will have to do all the chores herself.

The Next Target

Untitled design(17)

After Mika calls Kurumi to talk about cyber warfare, Chisato and Inoue arrive at LycoReco. Just as the girls walk by Mika, he ends a phone call with the DA he says is confidential. After this quick establishing scene, we are shown what the enemies are up to, with info dumping regarding the history of Lycorises. Before the Meiji government, there was a group of assassins called the Spider Lily. It was this group of assassins that later became Lycoris, named after the scientific name of spider lilies.

Majima, the scruffy-haired antagonist from the train incident, is being informed by Robota, the masked robot hacker, of the next target; Chisato. Majima expresses the desire to crush the DA, and expresses frustration that the deaths haven't brought forth the results Majima is looking for. Robota nervously tries to defend himself, only to be held by Majima's goons. Majima holds a gun up to the robot hacker's head, and says he has three more days to figure out where the DA is located.

After being thrown out of the room Majima is holed up in, the robot hacker calls Yoshimatsu's assistant to inform them that his plan to get Majima to take out Chisato didn't work. Robota also claims that Walnut is dead, however, we as the viewer know that Kurumi is in fact, still alive and hiding out at LycoReco. Robota is contacted by another hacker who starts giving advice before going ballistic and going after the DA himself and being arrested in a matter of minutes.

Chisato Is Targeted Again

Untitled design(18)

Back at LycoReco, Inoue is serving customers while Chisato plays a board game with Kurumi. Kurumi nonchalantly reveals she's hacked into the DA and downloaded information, presumably for what Mika requested earlier, before downing food. Returning to Robota, he is pacing the floor and unable to hack into the DA. He uses a drone to follow Chisato and figures out where Inoue lives.

Meanwhile, Inoue is mumbling how statistically odd it is for Chisato to have won every round of rock paper scissors, all while two men are lock picking what is presumed to be their apartment door. However, they are in the dummy apartment we saw at the beginning of the episode. Chisato immediately pops up into the dummy apartment, shoots at the lock pickers, and throws them through the glass windows and off the balcony. Chisato and Inoue talk about the dummy apartment's usefulness, and Chisato offhandedly mentions the Lilybells, the male version of a Lycoris.

Returning to Robota, his door is broken down by Majima's goons and is once again held down. Just before Majima can shoot Robota, the video of Chisato plays. Robota hurriedly claims that if she isn't killed, all of Majima and his men will be slaughtered by her before they can find the DA. Majima listens, and decides to keep Robota alive for now, asking him to come up with a plan.

Back at LycoReco, Kurumi is piecing together similarities between the Metro attack and the Lycoris assaults. While talking about the Lycoris attacks, Kurumi mentions that those who are targeting Lycorises may have caught on to the fake school uniforms and are able to find Lycorises easier knowing that. While they are talking about serious matters, Mika and Mizuki explain how Chisato uses the muscle and clothing movements of her opponent to predict what they will throw in rock-paper-scissors, much to Inoue's dismay.

Taking Kurumi's advice, Chisato dons a large yellow shawl to cover up her uniform. Later that night, Kurumi rushes into the room screaming and explaining how the enemy actually targeted the Lycorises; using drone footage from the night of the arm's deal to identify the Lycorises. When they mention the information must have been accessed through hacking, Kurumi confesses to having had hacked into the DA back then too, leaving a backdoor to whoever stole the drone footage. Kurumi also reveals that the drone footage caught Chisato too, so now the protagonists know she's the next target.

Chisato In Danger

Untitled design(20)

Mika immediately calls Chisato to inform her of the danger she's in, seconds before she is purposefully hit by a speeding car and cut off her phone call. Inoue leaves to recruit the Yakuza, and Kurumi looks for Chisato via drones. Four vans pull up beside the assailant's car, which Majima comes out of. Majima walks up to Chisato's body, and rolls her over. He is shocked once he sees her Alan Institute necklace.

Chisato, who was playing dead, lunges upward and begins firing her gun at the thugs. Majima and his goons begin running after Chisato, who is already running away. Majima fires a shot at Chisato, who dodges it just in time, before Chisato fires at Majima's van and completely wrecks the windshield. Just as Mika and the gang are on their way, Chisato interrogates Majima, holding her gun up towards his head. He spits out blood onto her face and lunges at her, punching her in the face. He mocks her as he punches her repeatedly, and Chisato is blinded by his blood.

Majima holds a pistol to her face, while they are surrounded by his goons. He asks her what her mission was, but just as he's about to shoot Chisato his pistol is shot out of his hands, and a barrage of bullets hit his gang, all coming from Inoue. Chisato takes the lapse to retrieve her gun and begins shooting at Majima. Chisato jumps into Mizuki's car and they escape with Inoue and Mika. Robota remotely controls a car to attempt to crash into Mizuki, but misses. A bazooka is aimed at the crew, but Kurumi uses her drone to knock into the goon that has it, and causes him to aim at Majima, blowing him and the car up. The episode ends with the crew forgiving Kurumi for her original DA hacking, and Majima being seen alive.
