Luigi's Mansion 3 is a game filled with ghouls, ghosts, and Boos, and boasts hidden gems on the levels of the 15 story Last Resort hotel. There are six gems per floor, and each is protected by some of the most devious puzzles in the game.
The latest installment of the franchise has raised the stakes with better storytelling, mechanics, and features. Below is a guide for finding all the gems in the basement (B1), and how to solve their corresponding puzzles.
White Gem
Once inside the parking garage in B1, Luigi's Mansion 3 players should notice an idle car covered with a white sheet. Use the vacuum to pull the sheet off the car, and activate the button with a shine of the flashlight. The trunk should open, revealing the white gem.
Red Gem
Head to the west end of the parking garage to a fence encasing the hotel's power supply. Summon Gooigi and have him walk through the fence, and fire his plunger into the electrical box (marked with a lightning bolt) within. Once the box is open, shine the flashlight on the open box, and the red gem will be released by the power supply.
Blue Gem
Go to the far right side of the parking garage where Egad's car is. Just beside it is a steel cover. Luigi's Mansion 3 players should fire their plunger into it, then vacuum it back to pry off the steel cover, revealing the elevator shaft. Climb inside and up the elevator shaft to find the blue gem beneath a steel grate. Summon Gooigi and have him drop through the grate.
Green Gem
Players of Luigi's Mansion 3 should return to the laundry room they first entered B1 through after escaping King Boo. In the room are three washing machines. Use the plunger ability to open the middle washing machine and reveal the green gem.
Purple Gem
After learning the Strobulb ability, head to the door that leads to the parking garage. Beside the door and to the right is a painting. Use the Strobulb ability on the painting, and the purple gem will appear.
Yellow Gem
The yellow gem can be found at the stairs leading to the first floor. Luigi's Mansion 3 players should climb to the top of the stairs, where a metal grate awaits. Summon Gooigi and have him slip through the grate, and he'll fall right on top of the yellow gem.
