YouTuber Ludwig offers up a defense of Logan Paul regarding an ongoing controversy regarding an abandoned pig named Pearl that Paul once owned. A post on social media went viral recently regarding Paul's pig Pearl, claiming that the pig had been found abandoned in a field with a life-threatening infection. Paul, already a target of a massive controversy tied to the CryptoZoo scam, was quickly blamed for Pearl's treatment. Ludwig made a YouTube video that, in part, sets the record clear.

The bulk of Ludwig's video on YouTube is focused on the CryptoZoo Logan Paul controversy. CryptoZoo was a game pitch run by Paul where users bought egg NFTs which could be hatched and bred, to earn $ZOO cryptocurrency. Many invested in CryptoZoo based on Paul's name alone, but lost all of it when the project was abandoned – if it was ever actually being worked on in the first place. Ludwig notably drags Paul for CryptoZoo. The video as a whole is not positive for Paul.

In the back half of the video, however, Ludwig does spend time correcting the record regarding Pearl. Ludwig shares that Paul claims he owned Pearl for two years, but had to give the pig up when he moved to Puerto Rico. He says that he surrendered Pearl to "an amazing Ranch" where she lived for 10 months. The "Ranch" was then sold and Pearl was rehomed to a "Farmer across the street" which is what led to Pearl's current state.

Ludwig explains that if what Paul says is the truth, then it's "time to put the pitchforks down." Paul, based on his Twitter posts, put Pearl in a healthy situation and what happened afterward was entirely out of his control. It's a tragic situation that happens to too many pets and pigs, but Paul seems to have taken great care of Pearl when he had her.

Paul isn't without blame in this situation, of course. Ludwig calls attention to Paul acquiring the pig as if it were a cute toy in the first place. Further, he points out how cruel it is to move and leave a beloved pet behind. There's also the fact that Logan Paul, in what's become a common trend for the YouTuber, vaguely mention aiding Pearl's care but made no specific efforts other than to defend himself from criticism.

All in all, Ludwig's video isn't particularly complimentary to Paul, but it doesn't necessarily have a goal of condemning Paul either. It's just an informative video catching Ludwig's audience up on what's going on with Paul, which just happens to be a very popular topic to cover. Ludwig closes out the YouTube video by saying, "Hopefully that's the last time we have to talk about that dude."
