The Pokemon franchise has seen plenty of merchandise produced over the years. Most of them usually are accessories, with others being plushies based on some of the fan-favorites from the series. Many of these are sold through the Pokemon Center website, with stores across the world from Japan to the United States. The merchandise sold through these retailers is usually high-quality, especially being officially managed by The Pokemon Company. The latest merchandise sees a life-sized version of a staple of Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl, Lucario.

Lucario is known as the Aura Pokemon, a pure-fighting type that was introduced in Pokemon's fourth generation, starting with Pokemon Diamond and Pearl. A blue bi-pedal jackal with incredible speed and attack stat spreads. This makes Lucario an incredibly desirable Pokemon to get, especially for trainers in the Sinnoh Region. Its iconic status continues many years later, making appearances in many different games, from mainline to spin-offs. Naturally, The Pokemon Company is banking on both the remakes with one of its iconic creatures, giving fans a chance to get this Pokemon in plush form.

This jumbo-sized Pokemon plush measures 47.5" tall, 17" wide, and 9.75" long. These measurements are based on Lucario's official Pokedex entry, which makes it a great way to make a fan's home more lively and show off their love for the Pokemon. The plush even comes with posable and bendable arms, which can be used to make a variety of poses. This can range from battle ready poses from the games, to holding towels or giving a wave.

This merchandise aims to replicate the fighting-type Pokemon in plush form and capture its many details and features. It has soft fabric, embroidery, along with pointy ears and paws. The preview photos from the Pokemon Center's website showcase some of the ways that it could be used to feel like it is living in one fan's home, such as waving goodbye when the owner leaves the house.

Pre-orders are open until December in Japan, with the plush expected to ship in late April 2022. Much like other life-sized plush dolls, this one will cost around $420 and is made to order according to the website. Pretty pricey, but for the biggest fans, many will save up for a chance to get this Lucario, especially if it's life-sized.
