Offering a new case to solve and string of murders to investigate, Lost Judgment already looks to be a worthy follow-up to its predecessor, Judgment, continuing the original's story while implementing plenty of new activities and mechanics. The game will be launching this Fall for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X, but for those wanting a little extra look at the game right now, Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio has them covered.

Posting a new trailer on its YouTube channel, the team has revealed a fresh look at some of Lost Judgment's activities, deduction gameplay, and parkour-based traversal. The entire thing clocks in at just over five minutes, packing in a meaty look at what players will get up to as they make their way through Kamurocho and Isezaki Ijincho.

As revealed in Lost Judgment's announcement trailer, the game will implement new forms of traversal this time around, as protagonist Takayuki Yagami navigates precarious ledges, leaps from poles, and runs across walls. This new look at the game shows off how it will factor into gameplay, with parkour mechanics being used in multiple scenarios, including high-octane chases. A particular segment of the trailer shows Yagami jumping across cars and darting down narrow streets while in pursuit of a suspect, concluding with the detective tackling his target. Alongside that, it seems they'll also be used in less intense traversal sections, with another moment showing Yagami timing button prompts to climb a building while investigating.

There will be more to investigations than just traversal though, with Yagami having to use various tools to discover secrets. These include picking locks, using microphones to snoop on conversations, sending out drones for surveillance, and capturing snapshots of evidence on his phone. Players will even have to use stealth, with one section seeing Yagami distract and choke out a guard.

The rest of the trailer focuses on the game's brutal combat and some of the activities Yagami can get up to throughout his travels. The latter shows off another look at Lost Judgment's mini-games, highlighting the game's boxing mode and dance classes as well as its skateboarding contests and bike races. The trailer hints that there are plenty more mini-games to be found throughout the adventure, including claw machines, skating races, poker, and much more.

There's even a brief glimpse of Sonic the Fighters, which Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio has already revealed will be fully playable via its in-game arcades. It definitely seems as though Lost Judgment will maintain the Yakuza franchise's love of wacky activities and outlandish mini-games.

Lost Judgment is slated to debut on September 24 for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X.
