During the fifth chapter of Lost Judgment, players will find themselves infiltrating an RK hangout in order to rescue Kaito from Akutsu and his many henchmen. After taking out a guard, they'll need to head into a storeroom to find a way to pass through the building undetected, and it's here where players will come across a large safe.
As with some of the other safes in Lost Judgment, players are able to open it up, though they'll need the correct combination in order to do so. Thankfully, finding it out is relatively simple in this instance; even more so when using a guide. Those hoping to get inside the safe without any backtracking should therefore read on.
What is the Code for the Safe in the RK Hangout?
The code for the safe is 1811 and players can type this in immediately after locating a foothold during the active search of the back room. Those wishing to find the code the intended way will have to progress the story a little further though, by climbing into the vent and obtaining a disguise for Tak by following the bartender into the men's room.
Once the disguise has been equipped, players will be able to walk freely among the RK goons and can find two of them talking about the safe near the hangout's main entrance. If players listen to the conversation, they'll learn that the combination for the safe is "the numbers that represent RK," with R being stated as 18.
This is because R is the eighteenth letter of the alphabet, so, by following the same logic, it's possible to deduce that K must be 11 and thus that the full four-digit code is 1811. It's then just a simple matter of heading back to the nearby storeroom to open up the safe and claim the reward inside.
While it is always nice to figure out a puzzle the 'right' way, the only real benefit to opening the safe after acquiring the disguise is that players can pick up a bottle of Hug Bomb on their way back to the storeroom. For those who are already well-stocked up on the delicious drink though, it's probably best to just open the safe straight away and save a few precious minutes in what's already destined to be a very long playthrough.
What's in the Safe?
Upon opening the safe, players will receive the Guard Pants SS equipment. They can be equipped in the Inner Bottom slot and will increase Tak's defense by 15%, making them incredibly useful for some of the big fights that are still to come. In fact, it's a good idea to equip them straight away, as there's once again some trouble brewing just on the horizon.
