With all of the facts now starting to fall into place, Lost Judgment's tenth chapter, Catch a Tiger, ratchets up the heat a little with some fantastic action scenes. That's not to say that there isn't still plenty of detective work to be done too though, with players needing to conduct several more interrogations throughout the chapter.

As well as questioning Mamiya again, Tak will return to the Tokyo Detention Center in an attempt to convince Ehara to appeal his groping conviction. There are also several challenging boss fights for players to overcome, one of which features Lost Judgment's only instafail QTE sequence, so players will need to be on their toes.

Interrogating Mamiya

When players regain control of Tak, their main objective will be to kill some time in town until Saori arrives. To do this, they should take a taxi over to Ijincho and then, once they're ready, hop in another taxi back over to Kamurocho. This will update their main objective to "Return to Charles," where they'll once again be questioning Mamiya.

Despite the large audience, there's not really too much for players to do during the interview, other than confronting Mamiya with the Mikoshiba murder footage. She'll confirm all of Tak's suspicions, after which, Saori and Tak make plans to speak to Ehara again and Mamiya is released back into the wild. After the cutscene with Higashi, players should rest on the couch at the Yagami Detective Agency.

Interrogating Ehara

The next morning, players should take a taxi to the detention center and confront Ehara with the new evidence. He'll initially deny all involvement in Mikoshiba's murder despite being presented with irrefutable facts. To loosen his lips, players should choose the murder footage as evidence and then ask Ehara if Sawa told him about the bullying. After doing so, he'll finally confess and will agree to an appeal.

After leaving the detention center, players should return to Genda Law and then select the "We should listen to Saori-san." option when Genda raises his objections. Next, Tsukumo will call and tell Tak that RK troops are amassing in Ijincho. Players will then need to head back to Yokohama 99 before looking around town.

There isn't anything specific that players need to do here despite a few new side cases becoming available. Players can tackle them now if they like or complete a few School Story tasks, but entering and then immediately leaving Seiryo High will also be enough to fulfill the "Look Around Town" objective.

Tracking Down Watanabe

After leaving the school, Saori will call and raise the possibility that there may be a connection between Kuwana and Reiko Kusumoto, a powerful government minister. Tak will head back to Yokohama 99 to find out more about her, but a breaking news report revealing that Kuwana is now the prime suspect in Sawa's murder will end up distracting him from his research.

Surprised by the news, Tak calls Detective Watanabe who reveals that Kuwana is now the only suspect. He ends the call abruptly, but Tsukumo is able to trace it to the Chinatown district, which is where players will need to head next. Making their way to the center of the red circle will trigger another cutscene and Watanabe will eventually agree to talk candidly.

The detective reveals that all of the security camera footage featuring RK members has been erased and that someone at the top is very keen to see Kuwana take the fall for Sawa's death. He won't face justice, however, and will instead die in an unfortunate "accident" while being arrested. Watanabe doesn't know who exactly is pulling the strings, but is convinced that nothing can be done to stop them.

How to Beat Watanabe

Tak will lose his temper at this point and a fight soon breaks out. Watanabe is extremely powerful and can dish out a ridiculous amount of damage with his baton. To combat this, players should focus on getting behind him by repeatedly dodging and then use Tiger Style rush combos and finishing blows to gradually chip away at his health.

Once players have depleted around 20% of the yellow bar, Watanabe will launch a powerful attack that can only be defended against by completing a multi-button QTE. Players will need to hold the left analog stick down and then press X followed by triangle (A then Y on Xbox). Failure to do so will lead to Tak being thrown into the ocean and a game over screen.

Other than the QTE and the baton strikes, the rest of the fight is relatively straightforward and so shouldn't cause players too many problems. After it's over, a bruised and beaten Watanabe will reveal that the information about Kuwana came from Public Security: the Japanese government's shadowy spy ring that pulls the strings from behind the scene. What's more, officially, Soma no longer exists.

Searching for Kuwana

As a parting gift, Watanabe will reveal that Kuwana has been sighted in the Fukutokucho area of Koreatown. Players should make their way next, and Tsukumo will help them to sneak past the police in a relatively simple infiltration section. Completing it leads Tak to the Geomijul area where Kuwana was supposedly last seen.

After entering a nearby building and passing some RK goons, players will run into Sugiura and should then make their way up to the building's roof. Eventually, however, players will reach a dead end and will need to complete an Active Search to find a new viable route. They should head to the end of the balcony and examine the yellow and black beam on the side of the nearby building, after which they'll need to perform some Parkour.

Taking a right immediately after regaining control of Tak will allow players to step over a ledge onto a balcony, where they'll find a Motivator Shirt SSS. There are also a few consumable items that players can grab while following the intended route, but nothing that's really worth going out of the way for.

After plenty more pipes and a particularly annoying jump, players will reach a rooftop with a group of RK thugs. Once they've taken them out, Sugiura will point out the route to the top floor as well as a room with a savepoint and some Staminan X. Whenever they're ready, players should head up the stairs, where they'll need to take out some more RK thugs.

Though there are a few tough enemies among the group, this fight's difficulty is largely derived from how many enemies there are. With the help of Tak's Crane Style and EX actions though, it's a fight that shouldn't cause most players too much trouble. It ends with the Geomijul showing up and revealing that Kuwana is with Tesso at the Yokohama Liumang's hideout.

How to Beat Kuwana

Upon their arrival at the hideout, players will need to sit through a conversation between Tak and Kuwana. After the former reveals that it's Public Security who are after the handyman, players will need to select the "They're working with Reiko Kusumoto." option to progress talks. From here, tensions begin to rise, and players will eventually find themselves in yet another intense standoff with Kuwana.

As players will likely remember from the first Tesso fight, the Liumang's hideout is actually an excellent place to fight, thanks largely to the ridiculous amount of furniture that can be used as weapons. There are enough tables and chairs to defeat Kuwana without having to throw a single punch, though this strategy would require the use of items to keep Tak's EX meter topped up.

Those looking to approach the fight in a more traditional manner should opt for Tiger Style, being sure to utilize deadly counters whenever Kuwana attacks while glowing red. Either way, it's going to be a fairly long fight, as the hot-headed handyman has one additional health bar when compared to Detective Watanabe.

Eventually, both Tak and Kuwana will end up on the floor and are forced into an uneasy truce by Tesso and Sugiura. As they later chow down with some Chinese food, the four men come up with a plan to draw Public Security out into the open, which requires players to head back to Yokohama 99 to pick up some cellphones from Tsukumo.

Public Security

With two burner phones now in hand, players should make their way over to the marked building construction site in the northwestern corner of the map. After arriving at the scene and with the help of a drone, Tak will set the plan in motion and a fairly long cutscene will play out.

When players next gain control, they'll need to deal with another group of RK thugs, none of whom should put up too much of a fight. Players will then be shown one final cutscene before the chapter ends, in which a shady Public Security officer named Bando approaches Reiko Kusumoto with information about Shinya Kawai's murder.
