The November 2022 update for Lost Ark—Feast With Friends—is schedule to release tomorrow, November 16. South Korean studio Smilegate today released its massive patch notes detailing the latest Lost Ark content drop. The 7,000-word changelog spans everything from class additions and new progression events to a wide variety of quality-of-life improvements, as well as changes to the in-game economy designed to combat cheaters, among other things.

Lost Ark had its South Korean debut in late 2019 before finally coming to the West early this year after Smilegate struck a publishing deal with Amazon Games. The free-to-play MMORPG received largely favorable reviews and amassed quite a global following by today, though its popularity also led to a bit of a bot problem underlined by a recent cheater purge in which over one million Lost Ark accounts were banned.

As for today's patch notes, their main highlight is the new Lost Ark Reaper advanced class for assassins which Smilegate already detailed last week. Feast With Friends will also introduce two new progression events, Punika Powerpass and Hyper Express, which will remain active until January 18 and February 8, respectively. No additional Express or Powerpass events are planned in the immediate future, so players awaiting next month's release of the Summoner advanced class are advised to wait with completing this time-limited content.

The November Lost Ark update also streamlines the game's UI, in addition to simplifying the mechanics for transferring Tripod skill tree upgrades to gear. The new method automatically sends these enchantments to the Skill Book instead of requiring players to equip each individual piece of gear infused with their desired effects. Between that and the new gifting mechanics that will be available within strongholds, Lost Ark should become significantly more newcomer-friendly moving forward, especially for those who find veteran players willing to boost them.

Feast With Friends will arrive less than a month after the Mystics and Mayhem update, which was itself immediately preceded by the Lost Ark Arktoberfest event. Tomorrow's release will hence continue the trend of regular content updates to Lost Ark that Smilegate maintained since the game's release. It will also resume the studio's fight against cheaters with tweaks like the removal of gold from Rapport and Welcome Quest rewards, which are designed to combat in-game inflation by targeting some common ways in which bot accounts generate gold.

The Korean developer's content churning efforts aren't likely to slow down anytime soon, especially in light of the recent launch of the Lost Ark Season 2 Ark Pass. The game's online community also seems healthy enough at the moment, with nearly 250,000 people playing Lost Ark in the last 24 hours, according to publicly available data from the Steam API.
