Lost Ark has recently posted a roadmap for August and September, highlighting many of the additions and changes planned for the near future. A new advanced class, a Pet Ranch, a new Legion Raid, and a global chat channel are just some of the things coming to Lost Ark in the coming months.

Lost Ark is a free-to-play hybrid action RPG and MMORPG originally released in Korea in 2019, while the later Western release published by Amazon Games arrived in February 2022. Lost Ark became one of the most popular games in recent memory, consistently ranking among the most-played titles on Steam due to the addicting Diablo-style loot and gameplay along with the social and exploration aspects of a massive MMORPG. Major monthly updates since release have been bringing the Western edition up to speed with content introduced in Korea, adding new content in the form of character classes, dungeons, raids, and quality of life improvements.

One of the biggest additions coming to the game in September is the new Machinist class, the fifth advanced class for Lost Ark's Gunner. The Machinist has an interesting high-tech sci-fi theme standing in stark contrast to much of Lost Ark's magical high fantasy setting, unleashing explosive carnage with its futuristic arsenal of machine guns, laser weapons, and drones. The Machinist's identity skill is Hypersync, charged whenever the Machinist lands an attack. Once Hypersync is entered, energy will be spent to enhance the Machinist's abilities, transforming his drone into a battle suit similar to Iron Man. The Machinist class is a renamed version of Korean Lost Ark's Scouter.

Coming soon in August, players will be able to unlock the Pet Ranch, where they can recover pet morale, manage pet functions, and earn Jelly Cookies to exchange for rewards. Lost Ark is introducing its third new Legion Raid later on in September featuring an unsettling circus theme. The Kakul-Saydon Legion Raid will have players facing off against members of the Mayhem Legion in the Midnight Circus. Unlike Lost Ark's other Legion Raids, Kakul-Saydon is a four-player raid. While the raid requires Item Level 1475, an "easy mode" version called Midnight Circus: Rehearsal can be attempted at Item Level 1385.

A global chat room, better cross-server interaction, new hairstyles, and improved controller support are some other features listed in Lost Ark's roadmap for August and September. PvP in Lost Ark is getting some attention as well, with a PvP balance patch and better PvP settings in the works for the September update. With meaningful content updates consistently released since the game's launch, it's no wonder how Lost Ark holds the attention of such a massive player base.
