Once players reach level 50 in Smilegate's Lost Ark, they might notice that they still can't get their eight different Skills to max level. Part of this is because the actual level cap is 60, but the main reason is because there are a large handful of Skill Point Potions and Greater Skill Point Potions spread throughout Arkesia that are just waiting to be collected.

That said, there are a lot of different ways to get them, and some of them are more obtuse than others, so let's go over all the Skill Point Potions currently obtainable in the Western release of Lost Ark and how to get them.

Leveling From 50-60

Lost Ark - Highlighting How Many Skill Points In The Skill Preset Menu

This is obvious, but every level past level 50 also grants Skill Points, a total of 6 per level. This means that just from playing the game and casually leveling to 60 over a long amount of time, players will get an additional 60 Skill Points. Additionally, Skills can even be raised to 11 at level 55 and 12 at level 60, which is all the more reason players should make it a priority to start collecting Skill Point Potions as soon as possible.

Adventure Tome Completion

Lost Ark - Highlighting The Skill Point Potion Reward For East Luterra Adventure Tome

First up are the Skill Point Potions gained from Completion Percentages for the Adventure Tome. For the most part, getting to 50 percent or higher on any of the 13 continents in Lost Ark is pretty easy just by farming Unique Monsters, clearing both Dungeon Difficulties, buying or farming all the Collectibles, and cooking most of the regions food.

For reference, while Punika's story isn't all that long compared to some of the other regions, it takes quite a bit of work to get it to 80 percent, so keep in mind that this likely isn't something players can do in a single day or even in a few days. In any case, here are the Adventure Tome completion amounts that reward Skill Point Potions in specific regions:

  • East Luterra 70%
  • North Vern 60%
  • Shushire 50%
  • Rohendel 70%
  • Punika 80% (This one gives a Greater Skill Point Potion)

And for those who are struggling a bit with their Adventure Tome, here's a recommended order from easiest to most tedious for what tasks they should try and complete first:

  1. Main Quest
  2. Vistas
  3. Dungeons (Normal and Hard)
  4. Unique Monsters
  5. Field Boss
  6. Hidden Stories
  7. Another Story
  8. Collectibles
  9. Food
  10. Rapport

Climbing the Tower(s)

Lost Ark - Showing The Skill Point Reward For The Shadespire Top Floor

Next up are the Skill Point Potions gained from both of the Towers found near the Dimensional Cube and Boss Rush statues in any major city. Before going any further with this advice however, it needs to be said that players are highly recommended to do both Towers for the first time on an Alt, as the rewards for both are primarily Roster share-able.

Then, they should clear these Towers with their main as the rewards change the second time through to primarily Honing Materials and Engraving Books. In any case, here are the Floors in which Skill Point Potions are the reward:

  • Shadespire: 20th floor (Must be Item Level 420+)
  • Shadespire: 50th Flor (Must be Item Level 540+)
  • Fatespire: 20th floor (Must be Item Level 920+)
  • Fatespire: 50th floor (Must be Item Level 1040+)

Quest Rewards

Lost Ark - Looking In The Completed Missions For The Stone Of Power Quest

Next up are the Side Quests that reward Skill Point Potions. Some of these are Roster Quests while others are just regular Side Quests, so keep that in mind. On an alt character, the non-Roster Quests can be re-completed for additional rewards, but not additional Skill Point potions.

Roster Quests:

  • A Light Cast Over The Dark Fields: East Luterra
  • The Stone Of Power: Serenity Isle
  • The Sunset: Rohendel - Also part of the second Awakening Skill questline.
  • Return Trip: Rohendel - Also only available after completing seven days in a row of the appropriate Una's Task
  • Those Buried In The Dark Ground: Feiton
  • The Last Melody Of A Requiem: Feiton - Also only available after completing four Side Quests from the Fortuneteller in Feiton once a day.

Side Quests:

  • Eggs in the Sky: Anikka
  • The Hidden Robber: Shushire
  • Eternal Love: Punika - Also starts from a hidden interactable and is in five parts with only one part completable each day.

Collectables

Lost Ark - Highlighting The Greater Skill Point Potion Reward For The Giant's Hearts

Moving on to the Collectable section of Skill Point Potion rewards, these are the Potions given out for meeting certain thresholds in Lost Ark's wide array of horizontal progression. Sadly there aren't any given for collecting those addictingly fun-to-find Mokoko Seeds, but Island Tokens are pretty comparably fun to collect as well. In any case, here they all are:

  • Collecting and Turning in 20 Island Tokens Total: Great Skill Point Potion - It might be best to follow a guide for the easiest-to-clear Islands, as some of the Islands in Lost Ark are unbearably tedious to get the Island Soul for.
  • Giant's Heart #4: Skill Point Potion - Random Drop from Shushire's Tarsilla Field Boss.
  • Giant Heart #6: Skill Point Potion - Exchanged for on Atlas Island for 33,000 Pirate Coins
  • Giant Heart #10: Skill Point Potion - Clearing the 35th Floor of the Shadespire Tower
  • Giant Heart #12: Skill Point Potion - Completing the "With A Light Heart" Quest on Shadowmoon Market Island - This Quest has a lot of pre-requisites before it will appear, so keep that in mind.
  • Gathering 8 Ignea Tokens: Greater Skill Point Potion - Ignea Tokens are rewarded on each continent for clearing 100 percent of its Adventure Tome
  • Gathering 2 Omnium Stars: Greater Skill Point Potion - These aren't even available to collect until after Punika's main story.
  • Gathering 6 Omnium Stars: Greater Skill Point Potion - Very difficult to do and not something to try and rush.

Una's Task Reward

Lost Ark - Highlighting The Maximum Reward For The Whispering Isle Una Task

Last up are the Skill Point Potions that are given as rewards for meeting certain reputation thresholds for specific Una's Task. Every completion of a specific Una's Task in Lost Ark give 10 reputation points towards its associated reputation, with the max for each reputation level being different depending on the quest. All of this is just to say that there's only one Una's Task that rewards this, and it's the Una's Tasks related to Nineveh's Island, Whispering Islet.

To unlock this Una's Task, players first have to complete "The New Us" questline, and then it appears in their list of available Tasks. This reward takes 10 separate days to obtain, and involves three separate Una's Tasks called Whispering Minuet, Whispering Resonance, and Whispering Harmony. It's a good idea to keep an eye out for any future Una's Tasks with Skill Point Rewards, as there is a lot more content on the horizon for Lost Ark, and this surely won't be the only daily task that has this reward.

Lost Ark is available on PC via Steam.
