The Berserker is well-represented in Lost Ark. A damage-dealer that thrives on the frontlines without needing to retreat every few seconds is appealing. But his bulky stature can make him difficult to level up. Often, gamers will end up dying so frequently that they give up on him halfway to the top.
That's a shame not just because of how good he is at the top, but how capable he is at lower levels. With a few tips and tricks, players can make the Berserker class the one that they enjoy leveling the most since Lost Ark's enemies and bosses can't touch him.
Can't Have Too Many Mobile Skills
Since he has to survive on the frontlines, he'll need to be able to dodge attacks from bosses. There is only one "dodge" move with a ten-second cooldown and that's not enough. Get other moves that deal damage and move like dodge does. It's something all warrior class units should understand.
There is no such thing as having too many mobile skills for the Berserker. Pile on with Shoulder Charge, Diving Slash, Tempest Slash, and, of course, the iconic Whirlwind. Anything that isn't moving the Berserker should be considered an extreme liability.
Never Stop Swinging
There are many reasons to always be attacking. It fills up the fury meter, which will be handy when a boss fight comes along. More importantly, it will stop mobs in their tracks and prevent them from hitting the Berserker. It's offense and defense all in one.
Take a look at the skills and rotate frontal and back attacks. Swing and move forward with a frontal strike, then slash back in the opposite direction with a back attack. Rotating this will keep basic units permanently turning and unable to stop and attack. It makes for a fast leveling experience and a painless one at that.
Save Fury For The Start Of Boss Fights
The Berserker's metered ability, called "Burst Status" is available after dealing damage to enough targets. There is no shortage of compliments for the skill as it provides two passive buffs that help with damage and critical strikes. In addition, it has a burst damage ability of its own when used.
Newer players will want to use this often, but this big issue is that it can take a while to charge and it is not available to be charged at all until after a somewhat lengthy cooldown.
