As part of his for charity YouTube series Reunited Apart, Josh Gad brought the cast of The Lord of the Rings together again for an amazing episode. Director Peter Jackson even made an appearance in the video, and while there he revealed a funny fact about Sean Bean's Boromir speech.

Even people who have never seen The Lord of the Rings likely know what speech is being referred to here, as it has spawned countless memes beginning with "One does not simply..." As it happens, the speech was written the night before it was to be performed, and Bean didn't have any time to practice it.

In order to get around this, Bean actually printed out a copy of the speech and taped it to his knee. According to Jackson, fans can see Boromir looking down at his knee pretending to be in deep thought when in fact he is reading the script.

For such an iconic speech, it is funny to think that it was printed out on Boromir's knee during that scene. Jackson further jokes that every time that scene is rewatched, it is all he and others that know the story can think about.
