Loop Hero is difficult to explain, but once players get into it they find themselves having a ton of fun. For no one is that more true perhaps than it is for Jeffrey, a player that has reached unthinkable heights in the game. In speaking with PCGamer, Jeffrey explains that he found a way to collect infinite resources and reach an infinitely high number of loops without using any exploits or cheats of any kind. The method is surprisingly simple as well.

For those that don't know, Loop Hero tasks players with creating the world around their character, leaving the combat up to the autobattler system instead. As players develop the world around them, they gain access to new resources, but this comes with the caveat of making the enemies tougher as well. Jeffrey's method manages to circumvent this issue.

In order to travel infinite loops and receive infinite resources, Jeffrey uses a combination of two tiles. The Ruins tile grants a random resource whenever the player passes over it. Even if this the only tile that Jeffrey plays, slimes and scorch worms will still spawn and kill him after enough loops. To combat this, Jeffrey places Road Lanterns so that every tile is affected by at least four. This stops enemies from spawning.

At that point, Jeffrey is able to walk around the loop infinitely without any enemies spawning and threatening his run. Because the Ruins tile grants a random resource, he is able to get any resource despite not building any of the tougher enemy spawning buildings. According to PC Gamer, the highest he has gone was 13,283 loops, but he could theoretically go on forever assuming there's no power outages or crashes.

Loop Hero is available now on PC.
