The first season of Loki came to an end on Wednesday with a shocking season finale that left the future of the series, and the entire MCU, in flux. The series also introduced some new characters who are sure to become fan-favorites, including Owen Wilson's dimension-hopping bureaucrat Agent Mobius and, of course, Loki's femme variant who goes by the name Sylvie, portrayed by the delightful Sophia Di Martino.

The latest Disney Plus original series from Marvel Studios delighted fans with its unique aesthetic and the return of fan-favorite trickster god Loki, played by the endlessly charismatic Tom Hiddleston. However, fans have already fallen in love with Sylvie and one fan took it upon themselves to recreate the character's trademark look through this awesome cosplay.

The cosplayer, who goes by madsfive, posted the image of this outfit on her Instagram with the caption, "one of my most simple cosplay but also one of my favorite." The costume does a good job of replicating Sylvie's signature look, which is similar to Hiddleston's Loki but with a few subtle changes, such as a missing horn on her crown. This indicates that she's probably been through some heavy stuff. She has been running from the dreaded TVA for a while, after all. If you check out madsfive's Instagram you'll be treated to some other truly impressive cosplay, including a lot of really great armored costumes from video games like Skyrim and The Elder Scrolls.

It's not surprising that after being introduced early in the series, Sylvie became a fan favorite. Fans already love Hiddleston's indomitable Asgardian, so adding another version of the mischievous scamp was very exciting. When the series was first announced, many fans speculated that we would get to see a version of 'Lady Loki,' and with the reveal that the God of Mischief in the MCU and the comics is canonically gender-fluid, it just seemed like a matter of time. In fact, with that knowledge, it's actually surprising there aren't more female Loki variants in the show. The creators of the series probably wanted Sylvie to stand out amongst the many Loki variants we saw by the end of the series, but still, it seems like a missed opportunity. At least fans got the brilliant Classic Loki portrayed by legendary British actor Richard E Grant, and of course alligator Loki. I think it's safe to say that fans can expect to see a lot more God of Mischief variant cosplays in the future.

The first season of Loki ended on some fairly ambiguous terms, with Sylvie choosing to kill the mysterious man known as 'He Who Remains,' thus potentially dooming the MCU to an onslaught of his less benevolent variants. While there are no plot details available for the announced second season of the showit's safe to assume that Sylvie will return along with Hiddleston's original Loki.

Hiddleston is already confirmed to be making an appearance in the upcoming Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness along with Elizabeth Olsen's Wanda Maximoff/Scarlett Witch, who was featured on her own Disney Plus show WandaVsion. While it's almost certainly a guarantee that Sylvie will return in Loki season 2, here's hoping we get to see her return in one of the many other upcoming Marvel projects.

Until then, you can watch all of Loki season one, streaming exclusively on Disney Plus.
