The season finale of Loki gave fans a lot to talk about. From the big villain reveal to the creation of the Multiverse, there was a lot going on in the final episode of the first season of the Disney Plus series. But, one of the things that stuck in viewers’ minds is the unique opening sequence from the finale, which offers fans multiple Easter eggs spanning across the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

The title sequence has become synonymous with all things in the MCU, and Loki first changed the traditional Marvel Studios logo to green. However, the finale did not use the iconic music that fans can instantly recognize and associate with Marvel Studios. Instead, the creators chose to use dialogue and popular quotes from various MCU projects. A fan on Reddit has now pulled together all the clips of the respective lines and clipped them together to remaster the opening sequence.

Posted by user SicariusREAL, the video includes several clips that are a representation of the Infinity Saga in a nutshell. While the sequence begins with the sound of the Iron Man repulsor blast, it goes on to feature most of the Marvel characters in the MCU, including Thor, Captain America, Black Panther, Star-Lord, Natasha Romanoff, and others. Listening to all the quotes left many fans feeling emotional, remembering the journey of all the heroes in the MCU so far.

The sequence is also set to the song "It's Been a Long, Long Time," which was the song used when Steve Rogers and Peggy Carter dance at the end of 2019's Avengers: Endgame, once again forming a connection to the Infinity Saga and how it ended. The song also featured in 2014’s Captain America: The Winter Soldier. The opening sequence is being hailed as the best one so far in the MCU, but it is obviously a one-time nod to honor the universe. Having been set up in 2008’s Iron Man, the MCU has come a long way in the past 13 years. It is also Marvel Studios’ way of preparing fans for what’s to come ahead.

Apart from popular dialogues from the MCU, the opening sequence of the Loki season one finale also featured quotes from historical figures, including Alan Watts, Neil Armstrong, Nelson Mandela, Malala Yousafzai, and many others. Greta Thunberg also appears in the sequence, with a clip of her unforgettable 'how dare you' speech at the United Nations being added in. All of the clips are visible in the fan-made video, which would definitely have taken a long time to put together, and seems to be offering viewers a visual treat.

Loki is now streaming on Disney Plus.
