Marvel Studios has been cashing in on their multiple television series that have been released this year. One of the most popular ones remains Loki, with Tom Hiddleston returning to reprise his role as the God of Mischief. In the series, fans met a whole variety of Loki Variants, and a newly released video by Disney Plus introduced fans to Loki's classic Disney cartoon version.

The video is part of Disney’s Untold web series, which takes fans behind the scenes of many of the entertainment conglomerate’s projects. The latest episode gives fans the opportunity to get to know Loki star Hiddleston and his journey of adapting the role of the God of Mischief over the past 11 years in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

In the past, fans have already seen an animated version of Loki as part of The Simpsons: The Good, The Bart, and The Loki, a Marvel Studios-Simpsons crossover animated short. But, the Untold video offers a look at Loki in a classic Disney cartoon format. Animated versions of Hiddleston and Chris Hemsworth’s Thor also make an appearance.

The characters all have typical Disney features, with Loki even wearing Mickey Mouse gloves. All the animations in the video will remind viewers of the classic Disney cartoons, which they could have potentially watched while growing up. All the outfits and styles that Hiddleston's Loki has sported during his time in the MCU are portrayed in the animations, too.

In the Untold video, Hiddleston takes a trip down memory lane and talks about his experience of playing Loki for over a decade. He remembers the phone call that he received from Marvel boss Kevin Feige, informing him that he had been chosen to play the role of the God of Mischief. He jokes about how he wasn’t surprised that he didn’t make the cut to play Thor because Hemsworth was definitely more fit than him.

Fans have appreciated the camaraderie between Thor and Loki over the years, with many referring to them as the best sibling duo in the MCU. The video is a great reminder of Loki’s journey so far and invites fans back to the world of mischief. Loki ran for six episodes earlier this year and is the only Marvel series so far to have been renewed for a second season. The series opened the gates to the Multiverse as well, setting up several future MCU projects, which makes it one of the most important series in Phase 4 so far.

Loki is streaming on Disney Plus.
