In two weeks, Tom Hiddleston returns as fan-favorite character Loki in the upcoming Disney Plus series. As if the hype for the show wasn’t high enough already, Marvel Studios has upped the campaigning by dropping a set of new character posters for the series.

The exclusive posters offer a closer look at the previously introduced main characters, including Hiddleston as the God of Mischief, Owen Wilson as Agent Mobius M. Mobius, Gugu Mbatha-Raw as Ravonna Lexus Renslayer, and Wunmi Mosaku as Hunter B-15. Shared on social media, the caption simply reads, “Welcome to the TVA,” while reminding fans that Loki premieres in mid-June, moving Disney Plus’ weekly release schedule to Wednesdays.

The multiple trailers and clips from the series have already shown fans the different looks that Hiddleston’s Loki will be donning, including one of him in a prison jumpsuit. The latest poster sees him wearing a trench coat, whereas the other characters are also seen in clean, fresh outfits previously spotted in the official Loki trailer.

Time travel is the main focus of the new posters, with each character posing in front of the quirky clock-like background previously seen in other Loki posters. The series will follow the version of Loki introduced in Avengers: Endgame, who steals the Tesseract and escapes captivity in 2012, hence creating a whole new timeline of events in the MCU. He is then captured by the Time Variance Authority, which monitors the MCU timelines, and will be forced to assist them with fixing the timeline that he broke. The organization was first introduced in the comics in 1986, but this is the first time that they are being mentioned in the MCU.

Just a few days ago, Marvel had also released a few new images from Loki, which were published as part of Hiddleston’s interview with Total Film. The three images offered a new look at the main characters in action, along with a behind-the-scenes shot of Loki director Kate Herron with Hiddleston and Wilson. With the series streaming on Disney Plus soon, it seems like Marvel is focusing on its promotion efforts by offering fans glimpses of their favorite character every few days.

Loki premieres exclusively on Disney Plus on June 9, 2021.
