Disney Plus is ramping up its promotional campaign for the upcoming Marvel series Loki, with less than two weeks to go before it premieres. The streaming service has released an appreciation video for the God of Mischief, highlighting some of his most memorable moments in the Marvel Cinematic Universe that will leave fans laughing at all his antics in the past decade.

Tom Hiddleston’s Loki is undeniably one of the most popular villains in the MCU. Since his introduction in 2011’s Thor, the Asgardian trickster has become a beloved character who fans cannot seem to hate despite his devious ways. To honor the fan-favorite character, Disney Plus has released the Loki collection, which consists of all the MCU movies that the character has made an appearance in thus far.

The moments in the appreciation video date all the way back to Loki's first appearance in the MCU. But, one of the funniest moments has to be the character's face-to-face with the Hulk, who effortlessly lifts the God of Mischief, smashes him into the ground, and walks away while saying one of his rare dialogues, “puny God.” Even though it’s almost impossible to trust Loki, with his own brother constantly doubting his allegiance, the character has gone on to become extremely popular and the hype for the upcoming show is thus not surprising.

The most important scene in the Disney Plus’ appreciation video is from Avengers: Endgame, where a version of Loki from the past steals the Tesseract and escapes captivity when the Avengers go back in time to obtain all the Infinity Stones. This version of the character will be seen in the upcoming series, with the events of the show picking up from where fans last saw the mischievous God. Following that, the video then brings fans back to the show’s reality, where Agent Mobius asks for the “unique Loki perspective” in order to fix the MCU’s timeline. The God of Mischief might have thought that stealing the Tesseract was the solution to his problems, but the Time Variance Authority will catch up with him in Disney Plus’ Loki

Ahead of the series premiere, the Disney Plus Loki collection has been launched as well. This will be helpful for fans looking to brush up their Loki knowledge, or for others to catch up on his adventures before the upcoming series hits the small screen.

All six of the trickster’s film appearances across the MCU are a part of the collection on Disney Plus, including 2011’s Thor, 2012’s The Avengers, 2013’s Thor: The Dark World, 2017’s Thor: Ragnarok, 2018’s Avengers: Infinity War, and finally 2019’s Avengers: Endgame

Loki premieres on Disney Plus on June 9, 2021.
