Logitech reveals the Pro X Lightspeed, the newest gaming headset from the popular tech brand. The reveal follows another big gaming announcement from the company, as last week it confirmed that it is partnering up with Herman Miller to make a high-end gaming chair.

With a slick new trailer posted to social media, Logitech unveiled the Pro X Lightspeed gaming headset, which is a wireless version of the Pro X headset that it launched last year. The headset can stay connected up to 13 meters, or 42 feet, away, which will be useful for anyone living in a big house who suddenly has to go AFK during a big gaming session.

Other new features are new button placement and USB-C charging. The Pro X Lightspeed moves the volume dial and mute button from the cord to the headset itself, and it can now be charged via USB-C. USB-C is much faster than micro USB, and the charging port has been seen on newer gaming devices, such as the PS5's DualSense controller.

Unsurprisingly for a gaming device endorsed by some of the world's most famous streamers, the Pro X Lightspeed doesn't come cheap. It will cost $200 when it launches in August, making it more expensive than other wireless headsets like the JBL Quantum One.
