Controversial YouTuber and Internet personality Logan Paul is best known lately for his podcast and high profile boxing matches. In fact, Paul's boxing matches have proven to be a huge draw for the sport, with his KSI fights drawing significant attention from both the media and general public. The interactions between Paul and KSI leading up to their boxing matches were compared to professional wrestling feuds, and so it's fitting that Paul will apparently now be joining the world of pro wrestling.

It was announced that Logan Paul will be appearing on the next episode of WWE Friday Night SmackDown, which will be live on April 2. Paul will be a guest on Sami Zayn's Red Carpet Premiere show, where he will discuss documentary footage that Zayn has shown him. For those who have not been following WWE storylines lately, essentially Sami Zayn has had a documentary crew following him around so that he can gather evidence to prove that WWE management has a grudge against him.

Sami Zayn's antics are leading directly to a match at WrestleMania 37, where he will fight his longtime rival Kevin Owens in a singles match. It's speculated that Paul's appearance on the next episode of SmackDown will see the Internet celebrity added to the match in some capacity, though what role he would serve exactly remains to be seen. Perhaps he will be Sami Zayn's manager in the match, but that's just speculation at this time.

WWE has a long history of incorporating celebrities into its WrestleMania plans, dating back to the very first WrestleMania event in 1985. As some may recall, Mr. T was actually a competitor in the main event of the first WrestleMania, teaming up with Hulk Hogan to battle the villainous duo of "Rowdy" Roddy Piper and Paul Orndorff. And as a matter of fact, celebrities are already involved in this year's WrestleMania event as well.

Notably, Grammy Award-winning artist Bad Bunny will be competing at the event. For the past few months, Bad Bunny has been making appearances on WWE television, holding the company's 24/7 Championship, and feuding with the likes of The Miz and John Morrison. At WrestleMania 37, Bad Bunny will be facing off against The Miz in a singles match, with Damian Priest in his corner.

Considering this, it's totally within the realm of possibility that Logan Paul will have a role to play at WrestleMania 37 that has yet to be revealed. Of course, it's also possible that Paul's appearance on WWE SmackDown will be a one-off thing, and so fans can't rule that out either. More should come to light once WWE SmackDown rolls around this Friday, April 2.
