Logan Paul has become one of the most polarizing celebrity influencers of the last decade alongside his brother Jake Paul, with their antics helping them attain over 20 million subscribers each on YouTube. Those days seem to be long behind him as today he is focused on his podcast IMPAULSIVE, as well as taking part in boxing matches with the likes of Floyd Mayweather, and appearing in WWE.

During his time as an influencer, Logan Paul has lived in LA since 2014, with the star purchasing a mansion in 2017 for $6.6 million. The LA mansion comes with six bedrooms, seven bathrooms, and spans a huge 7,667-sq-feet. Now, Logan Paul is set to leave it all behind as he looks to leave California, following in the footsteps of many celebrities who have left the state for a variety of reasons.

According to a report from TMZ, Logan Paul has recently sold his LA mansion for $8,995,000, which has given him a rather large profit of over $2 million before fees and taxes. The same report reveals that the YouTube star is set to move to the Caribbean island of Puerto Rico. Logan Paul has been spending a lot of time on the island in recent months, as well as making a $10 million mansion his home during his training for the Floyd Mayweather boxing match that took place in June 2021.

Logan Paul has revealed that financial reasons are a large factor in him moving to the island, which includes tax breaks to help him keep more of his income, which will allow him to pay just 4% income tax, as well as a 0% dividend rate, and 0% capital gains tax rate. This will save him a lot of money compared to living in the state of California which has a much higher tax rate, with capital gains tax reaching as high as 12.3%.

Over recent months there have been many celebrities that have left California for other US states, with popular choices including Texas, which Joe Rogan moved to, Nevada with stars such as Stone Cold Steve Austin now calling it home, and Wyoming, which is now home to Jeffree Star, Kanye West, and Motley Crue's Nikki Sixx. With the bright lights of LA and the Hollywood Hills being the go-to locations for top celebrities, it will be interesting to see how things change as many of its richest residents look to leave over the coming months and years.
