Social media personality Logan Paul has a well-known affinity for Pokemon, spending millions on Pokemon cards over the years. Logan Paul turned his Charizard Pokemon card into a necklace and wore it to his high profile boxing match with Floyd Mayweather, and more recently, Paul wore an even more expensive Pokemon card to his debut wrestling match at WrestleMania 38.

Logan Paul made his WWE debut at WrestleMania 38 in a tag team match, joining forces with The Miz to wrestle the father/son duo of Rey and Dominik Mysterio. Paul and Miz wound up winning the match when it was all said and done, though The Miz betrayed Paul after the bell by hitting him with his Skull-Crushing Finale finishing move. It seems highly likely that this will see Paul's involvement in WWE continue, though it remains to be seen what exactly he will do next.

When Paul and Miz were making their entrances at WrestleMania, Paul was wearing a gold chain with a Pokemon card inside it. But instead of the expensive Charizard card that he wore to his Floyd Mayweather fight, this new Pokemon card is the Illustrator Pikachu card. According to Paul, it's the only PSA 10 Illustrator Pikachu that exists, making it the rarest Pokemon card in the world. Paul flew to Dubai and paid a staggering $5.3 million to get his hands on the card.

Luckily, it seems this latest big-time Pokemon card purchase by Paul is the real deal, which hasn't always been the case for the controversial social media star. It wasn't that long ago that Paul was scammed after he paid $3.5 million to buy what was supposedly boxes of unopened 1st edition Pokemon cards. However, the boxes were instead full of G.I. Joe trading card game packs.

Now that Paul has purchased the rarest Pokemon card in the world and has broken world records in the process, it will be interesting to see if this caps off his hobby. After all, it doesn't seem like there is any other Pokemon cards he can purchase to top the Illustrator Pikachu card. Then again, Paul may opt to make smaller purchases to help build his collection instead.

Regardless of what happens with his Pokemon card hobby moving forward, fans can count on Logan Paul remaining in the spotlight. After all, The Miz attacked Paul at WrestleMania 38, and so one has to imagine that a match between the two of them is likely in the cards for some point down the line.
