WrestleMania 37 proved to be a great one for professional wrestling fans. The top card Triple Threat Match between Roman Reigns, Edge, and Daniel Bryan was a marathon of exciting wrestling action and gamers in the wrestling crowd also got to enjoy the reveal of WWE 2K22. But besides these highlights, there was another match that took place that has YouTube fans cheering. Following a match between wrestling rivals Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens, special guest Logan Paul decided to stir up trouble, but he ended up taking a stunner for his efforts.

The events leading up to the match saw Sami Zayn recruiting Logan Paul to help him prove with video evidence that WWE management was out to end his career. Paul has a controversial history with documentary style videos on YouTube, so the pairing of the two seemed to be make a good WWE storyline. Logan Paul appeared on WWE SmackDown on April 2 to watch Zayn's footage but seemed unconvinced of any conspiracy at the time. He doubled down on his stance at WrestleMania 37, where he betrayed Zayn and instead decided to buddy up to his rival, Kevin Owens.

After a match between Zayn and Owens that saw Owens come out on top, Zayn claimed the referees were conspiring against him. He pleaded with Logan Paul, but Paul shoved him down and instead walked over to raise Owens' arm in victory. The WrestleMania 37 crowd was quick to boo Paul for his efforts and Owens seemed unsure of how to take Paul's sudden loyalty. The crowd didn't have to wait long for retribution, as Owens decided Paul's time in the limelight was over and sent him sprawling with a stunner.

If Paul decided to get into professional wrestling his personality would make him a natural heel, and to his credit he sells the stunner pretty well. WWE commentators are quick to capitalize on his controversial nature, which all in all just makes for a good show for the crowd. For those unfamiliar with professional wrestling, the stunner is a common wrestling move that was popularized by WWE legend Stone Cold Steve Austin. Steve Austin now hosts a WWE Network podcast where he talks to current and former professional wrestlers and discusses the industry.

Although many YouTube fans probably enjoyed seeing Paul take a beating in the ring, he's certainly tried to overcome his controversial past with more diverse content in the present. Besides Paul's imminent boxing match with Floyd Mayweather, Paul hosts a regular podcast called Impaulsive where his YouTube persona is less apparent. Lately he's been into the Pokemon TCG and is now the owner of multiple millions of dollars worth of first edition cards.
