The wait for the Logan Paul vs. Floyd Mayweather boxing match is almost over, as the two will face off in the ring on June 6. However, a recent announcement is not going over well with fan, and the showdown between Paul and Mayweather may not be what they were expecting.

The Rules state that the Paul vs. Mayweather boxing exhibition will have no judges, no official winner read, and will feature eight three-minute rounds. Since there will be no judges and no official decision, fans are wondering how the fight will play out. While the lack of judges and scoring may affect interest, there are  reasons for the strange rules.

Boxing matches are usually held in certain weight classes. However, there's a massive weight difference between 44-year old Mayweather and 26-year old Paul. Mayweather fought his 50 pro boxing matches at weights ranging from 130 to 154 pounds. For his next fight, Mayweather can weigh up to 160 pounds, while Paul can weigh in at 190 pounds. Due to the difference, the match will be an exhibition with no judges, meaning Mayweather isn't jeopardizing his perfect career record. The last time Mayweather put his record on the line was against UFC star Conor McGregor to secure his fiftieth win.

While there cannot be a decisive winner, fans are still placing bets on outcomes like knockdowns and round predictions. Many fight fans want to see a full 12 round fight with a winner announced, but others are content watching one of the greatest boxing champions of all-time exchanging blows with one of the most controversial influencers in the world.

The Paul vs. Mayweather fight was announced last year and rescheduled in April, so fans have been waiting for the bout for a long time. The YouTuber has been involved with a number of controversies including recording a corpse in Japan's "suicide forest," harassing Japanese citizens, and having YouTube ads disabled due to his "pattern of behavior."

Logan Paul has attracted a ton of attention since beginning his online presence at the age of 10. Paul has been making YouTube videos for years, and has risen to insane levels of fame. The controversial internet personality recently was involved in the WWE, appearing on Smackdown, and later on the biggest stage at Wrestlemania. Paul received a stadium full of boos at Wrestlemania and seems to enjoy playing the heel both in and out of the ring. Paul will most likely receive the same reception when he fights Mayweather on June 6.
