We know you waited patiently in your Sackboy costume at the LittleBigPlanet 2 launch party in New York City, as the newly released game set a whopping 5 Guinness World Records in its bid to succeed LittleBigPlanet (which sold a respectable 4.2 million copies worldwide - 2.2 million in North America).

Despite all the post-launch commotion, and record setting, Media Molecule has offered to let gamers take a look inside their studio - a studio that has brought players one of Sony's most recognizable franchises.

Filmed just before LittleBigPlanet 2 went gold, this wonderful video takes us inside a studio that can only be described as every game fan's dream company.

Some interesting things to look forward to: a look at their developers corner, their QA enclave, and even the incredible playroom the developer keeps upstairs. When the designers are not developing or testing, the guys at Media Molecule like to play ping pong and race on the floor of their playroom on bean bags.

James Spafford, Media Molecule's Community Manager, leads us through Media Molecule in an interesting look at a very special developer:

While Spafford assures us the fridge is usually well stocked with healthy food to keep the team energized during development, clearly there's more to it than that - as Coronas are keeping the fridge well balanced at the bottom. Late night developer parties perhaps? Didn't I say "dream company"?

If you haven't read it yet, check out our LittleBigPlanet 2 review and see what we thought of the game. With all the new features Media Molecule has thrown into this second iteration of their lovable franchise, there is no doubt plenty of new creations waiting to be uploaded to the LittleBigPlanet servers. What will you create?
