While the CW's Riverdale has just started it's season 6 hiatus, at least one of the show's stars thinks the series is near the end of its run. Lili Reinhart recently spilled the beans on when she thinks the CW original show is going to end and she thinks it's got one more season in at, at most.

The CW's Riverdale originally picked up where the Archie comics took place, showing Archie (played by K.J. Apa), Betty (Reinhart), Veronica (Camila Mendes), and Jughead (actor Cole Sprouse) in high school. However, season 5 saw a jump in time to where they were all out of college and had started their adult lives. Season 6 is continuing this new storyline but it's possible that the actors and showrunners are ready to bring the series to a conclusion.

Speaking on an Instagram live stream, Reinhart took some questions from her fans and offered up her opinion on when Riverdale might end as one of her answers. One of those questions was about when the actress thought Riverdale's stopping point would be. She responded that she hoped there would be a season 7 and followed that up by whispering that it would "probably be the last one."

It's worth pointing out that Reinhart herself doesn't appear to know exactly when Riverdale is going to finish its run. In fact, as her comments on social media showed, she's not entirely sure the series is going to be going past its current season. The series' sixth season is currently on hiatus and won't continue until March 2022.

Industry experts have pointed out some of the inability to pinpoint exactly when the comic-book-based show will end is because the CW has become unpredictable when it comes to its most popular shows. The Flash is currently in its eighth season with no indication it's finishing up soon. The network also allowed Arrow to go eight seasons before pulling the plug.

Riverdale is now one of the CW's standard-bearers, as it's among the only well-established series on the network that doesn't have to do with costumed heroes who can either travel through time or move faster than the naked eye can perceive. However, while Reinhart might not have an exact date and time for when her show is going to come to a conclusion, it seems likely she's heard rumblings and whispers from the rest of the cast and crew. Until there's an official announcement about how many more seasons the show might run, it appears her guess is as good as fans are going to get.

Riverdale season 6 continues on March 6, 2022, on The CW.
