After the last Square Enix Presents showed off Life is Strange: True Colors and Life is Strange Remastered Collection, giving the pair of games a release date of September 10th, Square Enix's E3 presentation was the place to reveal more details about both titles before their release in the Life is Strange: True Colors Ultimate Edition. While True Colors had a few things to show to the fans, those looking forward to the Life is Strange Remastered Collection got a glimpse at what the new look and feel of the game would be like when it arrives, with a stand-alone release date of September 30th.

The re-tooled collection includes the widely acclaimed and fondly remembered games Life is Strange, developed by Dontnod Entertainmentand Life is Strange: Before the Storm, developed by Deck Nine. The set together features improvements on the animation and visuals with adjustments to the in-game engine and more. For the fans that can't wait and are also eager for the third Life is Strange game, the collection will release with True Colors' Ultimate Edition on September 10th.

The trailer opens with Chloe and Max driving through Arcadia Bay, discussing how Max recently moved back to town and presenting the game's story of broken connections and making difficult choices regarding loved ones. The trailer also makes a point to show just what has been changed with the original with plenty of comparison shots; some shots featuring Rachel Amber of Before the Storm, among other scenes and characters.

With what the trailer shows, fans can see how much has been adjusted with the character animation and details, yet how it is still the same game at its core. While the game hasn't been seen in motion as it's played just yet, the real-time cutscenes do a job of it themselves, with the visuals of Max saving Chloe from the train tracks and other scenes defined in real-time by player choices being seen in the trailer.

While the re-release of these two award-winning games may be questionable with its cost and how the game came out as recent as 2015, with fans attached to the exact feelings the older games carried. Life is Strange Remastered Collection promises to capture the feelings fans go back and replay the original games for with visuals that only enhance those feelings while making them feel brand new again all at once.

Life is Strange Remastered Collection releases on September 30th for PC, PS4, PS5, Stadia, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
