While exploring the picturesque town of Haven Springs in Chapter 2 of Life is Strange: True Colors, Alex has to visit the flower shop. She's looking for more information on Mac, but notices something wrong with Eleanor.

A purple aura appears around the flower shop owner, and as Alex has an empathic supernatural power in the Life is Strange universe, she can feel Eleanor's fear. To help her overcome this and progress with the story, Alex will need to ask the right questions and interact with the correct objects in a certain order.

How to Help Eleanor in Life is Strange: True Colors

After taking control of Alex again, head towards Eleanor at the counter. There are extra objects about the shop Alex can interact with for additional dialogue, but they can still be found after helping Eleanor in Life is Strange: True Colors.

Use Alex's power to experience what Eleanor is feeling, and the look of the flower shop will change. There are 5 objects to interact with before players can help Eleanor:

  • Cash register (to the right of Eleanor)
  • Bouquet of flowers (in the fridge on the right-hand side of the shop)
  • Photo of Eleanor and Riley (in the back office)
  • Phone (in the back office)
  • Door Sign (on the entrance door)

Try interacting with the phone and photo again if the scene isn't moving along. Life is Strange: True Colors may differ from the past two games, but it can still be a little particular about finding the exact puzzle solution at times.

After finding all of the purple-tinged clues, Alex discovers that the flower shop owner is struggling with her memory. Talk to her and pick "Help retrace steps" to continue with the story. The correct order of objects will need to be interacted with to successfully help Eleanor in Life is Strange: True Colors. The right order is:

  1. Door Sign
  2. Phone
  3. Picture of Eleanor and Riley
  4. Bouquet of Flowers
  5. Cash Register

Alex will have successfully helped Eleanor in Chapter 2 of Life is Strange: True Colors, but now she has one of the game's major decisions to make. It turns out the flowers were ordered by Jed for Gabe's wake, but Eleanor forgot that Gabe had died. Players must decide whether to tell the truth or spare her the pain.

After making a decision and leaving the shop, players need to find Riley to talk about Mac's fear if they haven't already done so. There are also some additional scenes in the record shop with Steph, and in the Silver Dragon dispensary with Charlotte.

Trophy/Achievement hunters will want to help the birdwatcher and the man with the lost dog, and there are multiple collectible memory locations scattered about the town. Don't worry if some are missed, as any chapter can be reloaded from the main menu without affecting previous player choices. This makes searching for collectibles a lot easier.

Life is Strange: True Colors is now available for PC, PS4, PS5, Stadia, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and will release later for Switch.
